Went there for a quick lunch. Place is well located, had plenty of seats. The ginger honey tea was awesome! Hot, tasty and the tea pot was really beautiful. The food was a surprise in both ways. The chicken and rice plate was good, fresh, chicken was crispy, vegetables well seasoned. I would recommend for sure. The pork dish was supposed to be in a thickened base broth with rice…. The broth was thin, tasting like fish with small pieces of something hard in it, making it really unpleasant to eat. Besides, the combination of a pork dish with fish broth was not good at all. I could barely eat.

I believe this location is the relocated mccowan and 16th one. The service is good, even non-essential service is very aware of what's happening in the store and will help you flag down a server or even come over to ask you what you need.
Food portion size and quality is decent. Expect your meal to cost about 15$+, however they do have a weekday special menu. I personally like their taiwanese popcorn chicken. Pairs well with the rice
Ive also tried their takeout special which comes with a bbtea which is quite a good deal.
Place is usually pretty busy and parking can be a tad hard to find in the main level plaza, unless you're ok parking underground

Love eating at the flagship ten ren location! We each got the set menu - love that you can choose from each of the different set courses! The soup, mains and sides were really nice and tasty, and for $25, it’s a great value option since you also get a drink too! Highly recommend the green tea noodles - it’s really flavourful, and the Taiwanese crispy chicken. I also really enjoy their oolong milk tea and green tea mango drinks!

I was surprised by an interesting menu to chose items beyong tea. It was a fair meal, fast and well cooked. Service is good, it wasnt full, so i had good attention from them. They were not, as regular in Canada, throwing people out as they finish the plate and we could enjoy our tea in peace.

I brought my family here on the weekend and had a great experience. My son who is a picky eater loved the crispy chicken rice and his red bean slush. Service was quick, cheerful and polite as always.

Been here a lot over the years so thought I’d finally leave a review. The quality of the tea is unmatched and while slightly pricier than competitors, the taste more than makes up for it. The one thing I wish is that the tapioca be slightly sweeter. The food is standard Taiwanese fare and good for a comforting and satisfying meal. They also have a pretty good bento box deal to go. One thing I will say about this location though is that this is the only ten ren location out of all the franchises that I will go back to consistently again and again and that’s primarily due to the staff. They are all so friendly and welcoming and as a frequent customer over the years, they’ve become a really familiar and nice face to see. Service is efficient and staff always have a really positive attitude. Irene is definitely your go to person for all things tea related too.

Great food with the best tea. They always provide great service to us. We love their beef green tea noodle in soup. The new shredded chicken rice is excellent.

I had a really disappointing experience at Ten Ren’s. After waiting 45 minutes, no food was served, and no waiter even checked in. Meanwhile, other tables were being served. When I finally asked, the only explanation was that they were “very busy.” It felt like non-Asian customers weren’t being treated equally. Really disappointed with the service.

Very disappointing experience at Ten Ren restaurant. The service was a 0 out of 10. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food, even though there were only two or three tables occupied — it wasn’t busy at all. The waitress was extremely rude and impolite, showing no basic respect or customer service. When we went to pay, she gave us the wrong bill and said, “You took the wrong order,” even though it was clearly her mistake. Totally unacceptable. I will not come back and definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.
