First of all, I want to say that the people who work here are very very nice and lovely. For that reason, I wish they had a suggestion box rather than me writing a Google review. The coffee always has a rather burned taste for me. The problem is there is not a lot of other options in the area and workers nearby will continue going there to buy coffee anyway. It would be nice if they had almond milk options for coffee, and generally more healthy options. The prices for the buffet are expensive comparatively to what you would get downtown. The prices also seem to be higher on holidays. I will say though that many are a fan of their ice chiller drinks and squares!

I grab a chicken cordon and didnt know that it had ham in the middle. I went back down to see the lady who processed me and she closed her cash and helped get it replaced without any issue. Excellent customer service. My replaced meal was delicious.

The Vanier Café is located in the lobby of an office tower. It's basically a cafeteria type of restaurant and it's surprisingly good! The food is made on premises, and there is a wide variety. It's great for breakfast (bacon, eggs, muffins, yoghurts etc.) and for lunch (chilli, fish, meat, pasta, salads, soups, sandwiches and grilled items). Prices are reasonable. Décor is functional. It's a cafeteria. No glamour. Staff know their jobs and carry them out with efficiency, and are nice. It's mostly office workers, so the staff know many by name. As I've discovered the value for the money this little café provides, I have been visiting it more and more. I'm giving this restaurant a 4 star, because I think they provide better than average value for what you get. (For example, this past week, I ate 2 times from their hot/cold buffet, and I was absolutely happy with what I got for what I spent. Fish was well prepared, ravioli was tasty, salads were yummy. My meals ranged in priced from 5 to 8 dollars.) Would I return: Yes Would I recommend: Looking for an affordable and good lunch (or breakfast) in the area around Loblaws on Vanier? Check it out.
