Disappointing $70 party tray was almost all maki rolls. Small amount of nigiri seemed to be cut in half to look like more portions. Honestly, this was like supermarket sushi. Chewy. Not refined. And the order arrived late. Done with this neighbourhood place.

Did Ubereats. I used to eat at Sushime quite often. It was really good...fresh and taste. Then I didn't go for a while and when I did I was disappointed. Bow à few years have passed and I decided to try it again. It was a soso expérience. Not so tasty, rice less than perfect and fish not quite as fresh as it could have been. I doubt I will try it again.

I had a very delicious take out dish recently. It was such a nice surprise because all I asked for was one with an egg on top! My husband had his favourite bento box and it was just right as usual.

I've been a regular customer for a few years. I like sushi a lot. I've eaten at many sushi restaurants in Ottawa.. and some elsewhere. Sushime has been consistently good. The quality of the ingredients is above most. Their prep is fresh, their portion size is decent, and everything has always been flavorful. But delicately so, nothing too greasy or wet. A family run operation, without the watering down that comes with a chain of restaurants. Highly recommend.. (black rice is excellent too)
