We were very disappointed as we were there to enjoy a Spanish buffet, but they canceled it two weeks prior. We were not aware of this so we had a different food experience. The 5 PM reservation was done as th that was the only allotted time for the event and I would have booked later for the regular menu if I would've known. The server was excellent.

Soca Kitchen never dissapoints! The food and cocktails are fresh, exciting & inspired and the service is always top notch. It is very clear that Daniela and Gustavo pour their love and soul into every aspect of this amazing restaurant. Thank you very much for another excellent meal. We look forward to our next visit!

– Too expensive – Small selection of dishes – Good service – Menu layout is bad – No pictures in menu

Arrived at 8:40pm for a 9pm reservation. We were seated in a nice waiting area. The restaurant has an intimate environment. The 6 course Valentine meal was delicious. The food was spiced to perfection 👌 👍. I loved how the server explained each dish he brought out. I also love how the menu is accessible through scanning the arcade on each table. I can't wait to enjoy the Soca summer experience. Definitely among the top 10 restaurants in Ottawa.

What a perfect evening, great staff and excellent food all started with amazing cocktails.

Very nice restaurant- we enjoyed the Monday evening Blind Tasting. The smokey old fashioned was a great starter cocktail followed by 4 small plate choices which were fresh, tasty and satisfying. A great husband and wife team. It was our first time there and we will definitely return.

The offerings were delicious. The buffet ran from 5:00-6:30 PM. When I made the reservation, we could not get a table before 5:30. We were very disappointed to notice that when we arrived at 5:30, they had already run out of one of the items- the white fish ceviche. We were reassured that they would refill the missing item, but instead, they brought out deep-fried calamari rings (which were very good, but not what we expected or paid for). Then, we were told that they didn't have enough of the white fish ceviche after all and they invited us to have more salmon (the salmon was very good, but we wanted variety). At $39 per person, we thought it was a bit overpriced. Oh, and if we wanted coffee or dessert, those were NOT included - we would have had to order off the menu and pay extra for them.

It was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, with a great variety of choices—not overwhelming, but just right. The ambiance was great, and the service was excellent.

Great dining experience and delicious paella dishes to share with the family. The Paella Negra de Bacalao y Calamar, and Paella Mar y Tierra come highly recommended!

Seafood Buffet has only very few choices and mostly shrimp. I was a little bit disappointed with the food choices.

We dined in the Beechwood location on New Years Eve for brunch. It was a quiet atmosphere and upscale decor. The owner served us and was very friendly, helpful and patient while explaining the menu. The food arrived hot and nicely presented. I shared the shrimp paella which was excellent! All the brunch dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. Will certainly return.

The highlights were the perfectly cooked steak as part of the paella and the Sticky Toffee Pudding may have been the best I've ever had.

Food is delicious - but room is cold (especially in winter) so bring a sweater. Service is ok - pushed to tip 20% which was not appreciated.

Server was beyond rude. Went out of his way to insult the table. Messed up the order and threw the remake in a takeaway container for my daughter after insisting on not fixing her dish. Presentation was terrible. No solution when mentioned. Extremely disappointed with our first experience. We were so looking forward to trying this place.

Worth visiting just to try their Paella, their eggplant paella is still my favourite, but the pork one is amazing too.

They also make the best beetroot salad I've ever had.

My only complaint is by the time my partner and I finish two apps, drinks, and a paella, we don't have room for desert 😅
