We dined in the Beechwood location on New Years Eve for brunch. It was a quiet atmosphere and upscale decor. The owner served us and was very friendly, helpful and patient while explaining the menu. The food arrived hot and nicely presented. I shared the shrimp paella which was excellent! All the brunch dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. Will certainly return.

Food is delicious - but room is cold (especially in winter) so bring a sweater. Service is ok - pushed to tip 20% which was not appreciated.

Server was beyond rude. Went out of his way to insult the table. Messed up the order and threw the remake in a takeaway container for my daughter after insisting on not fixing her dish. Presentation was terrible. No solution when mentioned. Extremely disappointed with our first experience. We were so looking forward to trying this place.

Worth visiting just to try their Paella, their eggplant paella is still my favourite, but the pork one is amazing too.

They also make the best beetroot salad I've ever had.

My only complaint is by the time my partner and I finish two apps, drinks, and a paella, we don't have room for desert 😅

The beet salad was prepared perfectly, the surf and turf paella was full of flavor, paired with a bottle of red and decadent cheesecake! The dinner was paired with a beautiful and calming atmosphere.

Soca Kitchen Peruvian Feast Buffet
The restaurant is inviting and nicely decorated. After we were seated, we ordered our drinks, Tamarind Mojitos. Flavourful and refreshing. The buffet was set up in the bar area. A very nice spread of:
Soca Salad with pickled slaw and black garlic citrus vinaigrette
Causa Limeña topped with tuna
Chicken and choclo (corn) pastel
Fish sudado with coriander and lime
Shrimp and pineapple ceviche
Yuca and salsa huancaina
Chicken with Ají Panca marinade
Braised carne (beef) Limeña and rice
Assortment of toppings and sauces

All the dishes were well-prepared and tasty. No skimping on good ingredients. The fish sudado could have used a bit more salt and a little less lime. Our favourites were the chicken pastel topped with the citrus mojo and the braised beef.

The service was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed the Peruvian Feast buffet experience and would gladly return in the future.

PROs: We had the whole fish which was incredibly tasty and flaky; extremely well seasoned. We also ate the paella and the bravas. The Paella was very very good but too much aioli which overshadowed the pork and saffron rice flavours.
CONs: We ordered the Bravas. They were just alright. Way too much cilantro and green onion. Could not taste the seasoning on the fries.

The PUNCHLINE: Would probably go again, but not dying to do so.

The self serve taco special buffet was amazing! The playlist, the ambiance, and the staff were amazing. It was our first time at the Soca but it definitely won't be the last.

Visited Soca Kitchen for their "all-you-can-eat paella" and was deeply disappointed. The buffet wasn’t refreshed, leaving only mushy rice and the quality was terrible. Overpriced for bland, poorly managed food. Wouldn’t recommend!

Elevated and delicious food with a down-to-earth atmosphere and excellent service. Wish I could go at least once a day!
