Came here to try the blind tasting menu with my partner and was not disappointed! Very cute hidden restaurant with great ambiance. Our first course was PEI oysters with caviar, followed by watercress salad, fish tacos and eggplant lasagna. For $28/Pp on a Monday night it was a great deal.Would love to come back to try the full menuat some point.Heads up the menu did not disclose how much the beer on tap was but I believe it was $9-10.Since it was a Monday it was a bit quieter with only one person serving. There is parking on the side streets and 3 spots along the road out front

??????????????????????????Haven't Even eaten atvthis Restaurant beforen but I am giving this 1 star review as an potential inner customer.I called in at 5.26pm on March 18th, 2024 asking if they are still hiring front of house position and the guy just said this is for reservation only man with cold, low and rude tone, and then he hang up the phone right away, I'm like??? What??? Really this is what they treat people who might be work in with them?I'll keep posting this until there's further explanation given.

An excellent pickup order (the first of many i am sure) from Soca Kitch tonight.I went to their website and found their online pick-up system accessible and easy to navigate. Less than 3 minutes later, my cart was full of dinner (oysters, tacos, churros) for tonight, some pantry essentials (jams, spreads, crackers) and not-essentials (truffle chips - although one could argue this belongs in the essential category). But i digress. All this to say that l have been a long time goer at Soca Kitchen, and will now also be a picker upper (i think it is a verb?!).I will have to try their adjoining Plantain Kitchen next.

A real South American feel to the place and the food. Delicious meal: ceviche and 2 different tacos plates: fish and pork. Great cocktails that remind me of my travels in Chile and Mexico. Lovely host.
Came back for anniversary dinner and I am beyond disappointed. It’s a Wednesday night and the place it’s empty and we got inferior food, the steak on the Latin grill was undercook and it was a workout to eat it, impossible to chew! The tostones or patacones clearly not fresh, they were hard and not warm enough to even pretend to be fresh. The tres leches, more like tres layers of dried coconut! This a very disappointing experience.
