Called to order takeout for the first time to try this place, a rude lady picked up and asked when I’d like to pick it up… I said now and she starts saying how she has two orders ready already as if she’s gonna give me a left over order without even knowing what I want…. Then I say I’d like black pepper beef with no vegetables if possible or light vegetables, she responds with a sigh like it’s all vegetables and little bit of beef and how she can’t do it.. I’m like okay if I’m ordering black pepper beef and your telling me it comes with little beef you can hold that and keep ur overpriced food

Great tasting authentic Chinese food, you can hear the wok as you enter the store! I always place a call ahead of time for pick-up. Don't expect a friendly customer service as she is very direct and to the point. Know what items you want by the numbers/letters from the menu on their website (eg: B2,N3,etc) and she will repeat the items back to you at the end. They take cash, no credit. She includes their in house chili oil as well and utensils if needed. There are about 3 small tables inside if you choose to dine-in (no experience with that). Prices are on the higher side in par with Congee Queen almost but the quantity makes up for it. Glad to have a Chinese restaurant in Vaughan so I don't have to drive all the way to Markham when craving Chinese food!!

The best chinese take-out spot in the area!We always order our Chinese take-out from Ann's Congee. They got all the classic Chinese dishes and it always tastes amazing!They always fill up their take-out boxes and the portions are big for their affordable pricing. They also do party trays that we've ordered many times to host guests and everyone always says how great the food is. I highly recommend Ann's Congee to anyone craving authentic Chinese food!

Wow I just experienced the worst customer service over the phone. I was trying to call to order some party trays and the lady who answered was so rude! She asked me what time I want to pick up before I could even get a word in. And when I said between 2-3pm, she yelled, "no between"! Then I asked, okay what are your prices for party trays? She gave the longest and loudest sigh like I was a huge inconvenience, then yelled at me to give her a menu item. Made me not want to continue ordering. I am a customer! You do not get to yell at me over the phone when I am calling with questions. Sorry, you just lost a few hundred dollars in business!

I have got Tiger shrimp congee and shrimp fried rice. Both of these foods were delicious and cooked to perfection. The price was very reasonable and the customer service was excellent. The food was ready very fast and I did not wait very long to pick up my food. All in all very good service and an excellent food in Richmond Hill area. Thank you Ann, keep up the good work.
