“Great vintage cafe. You can tell just from old the ceiling tile. Cozy hometown atmosphere, great big unique sandwiches, nice baked goods (staff should always ask if you want it heated, with butter). Pleasant young staff, family and friends helping out, lots of good coffee too.”

“Our friend celebrated a milestone birthday this evening at The Arch. We are so pleased that she enjoyed her first visit to this long established restaurant. Diego , our server for the evening was very friendly , attentive and obviously enjoys conversing with customers . The food was deliciously fresh and beautifully presented. The Arch has always been the restaurant of choice for “ special occasions “ for decades and will continue . Thank you for a lovely meal and great conversation .”

Don't forget about the spreads and spices.

They use Reneés Caesar, if you don't know, now you know ( insert word I can't say ).

“We passed this place so many times and just didn't consider going in. But we heard it was good from friends and decided to go. It was SOOO GOOD! The small salad was HUGE! and so good (my husband doesn't like salads and could not stop eating it). And the pizza was excellent - and plenty of leftovers. “We dropped by the Swiss Chalet restaurant in Midland, ON on Friday Aug 22, 2026 at lunch time, for the first time
Staff were helpful, friendly, patient, kindly answering our many questions, helped us selecting and customizing our meals, provided more than enough plates and ulenciles without us asking.
Unlike all other S.C. locations, this location had new and modern tables, booths and internal design with very clean washrooms. Soft drinks were free refill and accessible for customers.
Food was great (the family pack was valuable) and the service was excellent. I wish we get the same level of service and cleanness in A.C. restaurants in Toronto.

In one sentence, staff were wonderful and we had a great experience. We will definitely go there next time.

“We had dinner tonight the food was delicious. We had the torpedo shrimp as an app a chicken ceasar wrap and a Montreal smoked meat sandwhich. Our waitress was amazing believe her name was Cara. Also the view is beautiful!”

But the star of the evening was the lamb. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning brought out the natural richness of the meat, and it was plated beautifully with sides that complemented every bite. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was warm and inviting.
