“Very good! we stopped here on our last day at the cottage. We were a large party or 12 - 8 adults and 4 teens. we made reservations and when we arrived, we were seated immediately by the friendly staff. Restaurant is clean and bright. I had the vegan curry but added rhe chicken (so not so vegan:) it was delicious! portion size was very big, but I'm not a particularly big eater and I also had an accompanying beer. Wonderful time to finish off our work at the cottage!”

“Honey tahini bar was great. They carry Mundays Bay local honey. However echoing hollow acoustics from a high ceiling exacerbate the sound quality and I found it quite noisy for a coffee shop.”

“Em’s has by far the best pumpkin spiced latte I’ve ever had. Made with real pumpkin! My favourite part of Em’s is the staff though. Always so friendly and happy. They just know how to make your day wonderful. I also highly recommend all the soups and the grilled veggie sandwich. So good!”

“The name says it all. The food here is delicious, reasonably priced and Lyla, our waitress was outstanding. This is one restaurant I want to return to again and again. Highly recommend. Be prepared, this restaurant can be busy as word is getting around about this little gem.”

“It's my first time going to the restaurant and it was a very pleasant experience. We arrived when they were offering a Japanese food special and honestly the food was spectacular. As well as the food on the menu that my little son ordered. To be honest, I hope we can return as soon as possible, thank you very much Boathouse ?”

“That cake! Scored an Amazing cake on pure luck from this bakery and it was delicious! Have also picked up other treats (chocolate raspberry bars are a favourite!) and breads here. Everything made from scratch and with amazing flavour!”

“I have been in the area for about a year and a half now and was looking for a good fish and chip spot, i have definitely found it. I ordered a haddock dinner with a piece of halibut on the side, the fish was hot, crispy with the perfect amount of batter to fish ratio, the fries were fluffy on the inside and had a golden crunch to the outside. All the food was fresh and when i asked for a few extra tarter sauces on the side, i received them without issue. The gentleman that was working, i would assume was the owner was very friendly, apologizing for the wait though i was only there for maybe 20-30 mins with 5-6 people infront of me, 10/10 service, 10/10 food. I would absolutely suggest this spot and i will be back.”

“Very disappointed with our recent visit to the arch. Loved it 3 years ago when the food was something to rave about and the the service was great. We reserved a table for 12 for supper and were immediately met with attitude at the door because we had small children (which made no fuss at all our whole service surprisingly enough), we were ignored and the lady who was waiting on us was quite rude. She rushed us into ordering and we could barely even get 1 refill of water - when we asked for refills we got an attitude in return, meanwhile watching other tables get 6 or 7 visits within a 10 minute time span. The food was alright this time around but nothing to rave about. It was quite annoying to us that there were 3 servers standing around doing nothing while we couldn’t seem to get anyone to come over to our table for simple refills. Felt like complete and utter out casts and like we didn’t fit the typical “mould” of people who normally eat there. The only time she was quick about anything was when we asked for 2 go boxes and the bill. Sure was on that one like a shot! Unsure wether we will be back or not at this point. Not a pleasant experience this time around.”

“Attended a Christmas party here this week and the owners and food were absolutely fantastic! I had the steak dinner which was HUGE and prepared perfectly. That was my first visit but will be back for sure! thanks for a great evening !”

“Not the same Dam Grill. 1. Fried apps and Fish batter extremely thick and greasy. 2. Kids meal was forgotten and when it finally arrived, it was under cooked oily Spaghetti with barely any alfredo sauce. 3. Pasta of the day arrived in the appetizer plate that barely covered the bottom of the appetizer bowl. The pancetta alfredo was prepared great, however, the portion was so small, I had to order a caesar salad (which was good). The portion of this dish was literally half the size of the childrens pasta dish that arrived late. 4. The pasta of the day special was not displayed (price not posted). $25 for under 2 cups of Spaghetti is a little much. The dam grill was known for its; - pizzas - Bbq wings - beef dip This is not Rawley resort. Need less fancy, better portions and/or lower prices. Wish you luck”

“we went for dinner tonight amazing as always. we had greek salad and Ceasar salad to start. my mother in law had the chicken parm with vegetables. father in law had the schnitzel and fries hubby had chicken parm with spaghetti and garlic bread. I had the moussaka and fries we all have lunch for tomorrow. it was all delicious. the table next to us had the chicken wings looked amazing. might get them the next time we go. thanks to Nicolas and Jenn and April for a wonderful dinner”

Thank you for always double checking ingredients for gluten and being accomodating when we wanted to try the breakfast pizza. It's nice to be able to still eat from one of my favourite pizza places and support a local business. Chicken ceasar definitely one of my new faves!”
