I recently visited Sandbar Beach Restaurant at Turkey Point and was warmly greeted by a lady sporting a Rudolph red nose and antlers, which added a touch of festive humor to my visit. I decided to stop by for some wings and a cider.
The wings were a delightâcrispy on the outside and tender on the inside, although they may have been slightly overcooked. Nonetheless, they were still quite tasty. I highly recommend trying the sweet potato fries; they're incredibly good, especially with the unique seasoning they use. The vegetables served with the wings were fresh, adding a nice touch to the meal. I opted for a local cider, which was definitely worth itâgluten-free and delicious.
The atmosphere at Sandbar Beach Restaurant is just so chilled and laid-back. For a local spot, it was buzzing with locals dining and having a drink. The bartender was always attentive, checking in to see if I needed anything.
This place is truly a gem in Turkey Point, Southern Ontario. If you ever find yourself in the area, it's definitely worth a stop.

Pulled beef yorkie was superb. But it's too expensive for that price because of small portion. Tried fish and chips and classic burger as well. Both was good. Staff was friendly.

Servers are so unfriendly our party couldnât even stay to eat.
A very very poor experience. We arrived and were not even greeted. Brought to a table that was dirty and filled with flies. Server was not happy, didn't give us the time of day. Looking for some nice perch or pickerel since we are beside the lake. Nope, only frozen brought in haddock. Kids pasta was swimming in butter as the Alfredo sauce was split. Server brought wrong dishes to me and my wife, server got my son's order wrong on the sauce he asked for on his pasta. Our burgers were decent. When we tried to advise our server of our experience, not a word of sorry or any concern for our disappointment. Guys, you are in the service business. Act like you want to be there, stop acting like our requests are a burden to you. This is not charity work, it's paid service. Get your energy and enthusiasm in the game or go home. Will not be going back. Also, spend some time or money on cleaning the place. Looks and feels like a run down dump.

Have been many times to this restaurant and never had a bad meal. As well service has always been good. Atmosphere is perfect with a wonderful view of Lake Erie from the putdoor patio and a good views of the beach.

Great spot by the water. Especially on a beautiful summer day. Had the Reuben sandwich which was amazing. Fries were decent. Onion rings were not that great because they are too batter heavy. Definitely would go back to try other items.
