We had booked a cottage for the night and were looking for a local restaurant before checking in. After asking around, we found Lock 42 Grill, and it was a great experience!
The restaurant has a warm, rustic, and cozy atmosphere, giving us a true local dining experience. We ordered drinks, chicken wings, and fries, and everything was delicious!
The owner, Dominika, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of energy, making our visit even more enjoyable.
If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a drink and a meal—you won’t be disappointed!

Placed a take out order tonight and when I arrived realized the head chef was the only one there, taking calls, serving tables and serving up some delicious food, I was dumbfounded she was all alone for the night and still rocking everything with a smile on her face. You rock and I know everyone you served tonight will see that including myself!

Suchhhhh a delicious meal. My boyfriend and I both got the chicken club sandwich with sweet potato fries and onion rings and wow were we blown away.
My boyfriend says it’s the best chicken sandwich he’s had — and that comes from a man who’s had very many chicken sandwiches 😆😆😆. The sides were also delicious, sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and the onion rings were tasty!
100% a must try place if you’re in the are!

Nice set up and location. I love the atmosphere outside in their patio and eating space on the grass area. Service is slow but the staff are warm and friendly. The food overall, not that good and overpriced. The fish and chips and fish sandwich are the only decent things on the menu. They are not consistent at all. The first time going the fish sandwhich and fish and chips were fantastic. Perfectly battered and fried, the chips were crispy and perfectly salted. The bread and tartar sauce were on point. To top it off the fish didn’t have excess oil. But then I went a second and third time and I was heavily disappointed. The fish was soggy, over oiled nothing like the first time. I have given it many try’s following those disappointments and each time I tried something new in the menu same dissatisfaction. They have Pasta Bolognese but their version was called Bolognaise which I would t feed to my dog. If you’re looking for a nice atmosphere and to get a drink then I would recommend this place. If you’re coming for a bite to eatsave your money and hunger for another place, unless the waitress can guarantee the cooks in the back will be giving you a stellar fish and chips like I had the first time. I gave up chasing that rainbow.
