We were greeting by a great server, Valariia, who was attentive throughout our entire meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, hot and had generous portions.
Definitely will be going back.

Flavourful. Got the platter for two, it’s actually for four. Every bite got better, I’m Jamaican and love my spice, the tea compliments the meal so well. Valeriia has a great soul, very welcoming and made sure all was good for my friend and myself. She made the experience all that much better and we will be back! Blessings to everyone who cooked for us !

Fantastic food and service. Valeriia tended to us, gave us recommendations and went the extra mile. The food, the sauces and the tea were an abundance of flavour that will haunt me for years to come.

If you’re craving flavour, comfort, and the perfect cozy evening vibe, Agha is the place to be.

I recently visited and honestly—what an experience. The ambiance is warm, elegant, and instantly relaxing, especially with the dim lighting and beautiful décor. It gives that perfect “end-of-the-day unwind” energy.

The food? Outstanding.
The Adana kebab was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the lamb chops were tender and smoky, and the sides were so fresh and colourful. Every bite tasted like it was made with care.

And the kunafa… oh my God. Crispy, soft, sweet, and loaded with pistachios. Pure happiness on a plate.

Ending the meal with their hot Turkish tea felt like the perfect final touch — rich, aromatic, and served beautifully.

Agha Restaurant is easily one of Waterloo’s best spots for Middle Eastern cuisine. Amazing food, great portions, beautiful presentation, and a peaceful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back!

The food is amazing! Definitely the best Turkish food in Waterloo. The manager Caner was also great, very nice and service was good. If you want authentic Turkish food this is the place

Agha Turkish in Waterloo used to be one of my favorite places my girlfriend and I even celebrated our one year anniversary there, so it’s always been special to us.

But our visit yesterday was honestly disappointing. The service was terrible no napkins on the table, and I had to ask for them. The servers looked like they didn’t want to be there, no one checked in on us, and they didn’t seem to care about the customers at all. I even saw a waiter ignore someone who asked for help.

On top of that, the food quality has dropped a lot compared to before. It just doesn’t feel like the same restaurant anymore. It’s sad to see a place that used to be great turn into something so careless.
