Bhima's is an amazing place! We went here for our wedding rehearsal dinner of 8 people. They did a family style service for our group, and all the food was delicious! The service was great, everyone had an amazing time. This is the best place in Waterloo!

I had high hopes for the Laksa, but the execution fell short. The shrimp was too salty and scallops smelt like ammonia.
To be fair, many things were impeccable: the presentation was great, the atmosphere interesting, and the decor exotic. Still, my expectation was simply to enjoy a good meal.
Indonesian words scattered across the menu are reassuring, but the lack of culinary authenticity can hardly be explained by the label “Thai, Vietnamese, and other Southeast Asian fusion”.
The price may be justifiable for a fine dining restaurant, while the refusal to take anything other than cash or debit stands out as an odd contradiction. True, warung literally means street-side eatery, but such stinginess feels out of place in a sit-down establishment.
It won’t be a bad choice if you value style over substance, want to impress your SO on an anniversary, or just enjoy a sneak peek at Oriental culture. (in Edward Said’s sense) Otherwise, it’s worth looking elsewhere.

If you want to taste highly flavourful and texturous food, this is the place for you. It is a reservation required restaraunt. Beautiful, authentic design inside. The smell of flavorful food being cooked hits my nose as soon as I entered the restaurant. The staff is so friendly, knowledgeable. He checks in on us often to make sure we were doing fine. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 drinks and 2 desserts. Portions were huge.

Absolutely loved this newly opened vegetarian restaurant in Markham! From the moment we walked in, the ambience and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The food was not only delicious and flavorful, but also truly unique—clearly crafted with care and creativity.
Highly recommend trying the Tandoori Stuffed Mushroom—it’s a standout dish! The menu offers an impressive variety from both South and North Indian cuisines, with something to please every palate. Even non-vegetarians won’t miss the meat, thanks to the rich and satisfying vegetarian options.
A beautiful dining experience overall. We’ll definitely be back soon!
I really recommend the pakora entry, it was delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Prepare for long waiting times, as they make every meal on the spot as you order, some meals take up to 1h to prepare.
Overall very tasty, would recommend!!! Make sure to get a reservation if you plan on coming 😁
