Food was great! Loved the beef kidney dish. Everything was really flavorful and so fresh. Will definitely come back soon.

We had langham noodles with beef and the Polo lamb with rice. The food was delicious, intetesting and the dishes large - you get plenty for your money. We finished with milk tea. Service was good and the owner came and chatted with us. Highly recommended.

I didn't go there because I was scared, but the dumplings and lagman were actually delicious!!
The owner is very warm and friendly. Please visit once.
I wonder why I haven’t been there before.

So i visited on a Saturday evening and it was empty. Chef herself came out and was very nice and accommodating. Asked if it was our first time trying Uyghur food (it was) and then went through the menu with an explanation of the specialities and the recommendation.
Quiet, small, relaxing place. Everything was fresh (as the chef mentioned) and as my taste buds agreed. She made it right after the the order and didn’t rush, it didn’t take too long or too short. Just right.
All the food was delicious. The lamb kawap (skewers) was just mouth watering. So fat and delicious. 10/10. Though the nan they were served isn’t anything to write about. The dumplings were just as good as the skewers. Juicy and flavourful. The laghman was great and I’ll definitely try again. Although the narin wasn’t to my taste, it was still good. I’ll try a diff narin next time. We also got extra cold noodles to eat in the leftover gravy/broth of the narin and laghman.
After that came some nice relaxing atkan chai. The price is for a kettle, not just a single cup, so it is very good pricing. Enough chai for a party of 4-6 people. Came with a bowl of traditional snacks (some type of bread I think) to accompany the drinks.
The prices are slightly high but within reason. It’ll run you about 20 per person average before tax. But the portions and plates are very large. The laghman dishes are meant per person but for someone quite small, it might be too much.
Overall: delicious food, great service, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Nice relaxing place to take a date or family and friends.
Dietary restrictions: They have halal food.

Very clean and nicely decorated restaurant. Service was great, very accommodating our need. Lamb skewer is definitely my favourite dish. Lamb skewer is done to perfection and very tender.

Went in today, food was good although the spices are a bit on the milder side, and the service was okay as well as the place was very busy. The tea plentiful (they literally give you a whole kettle full) but it is extremely mild in flavor and in my opinion they should tell the customers that beforehand.
Vegetarian options: they have a smaller vegetarian menu

Been here a few times! Food has a unique taste, great if you're looking to try something new
Amazing experience all around! Super friendly service and great food! I was skeptical at first but was blown away by how delicious and fresh each dish was. I will definitely be back... Be sure to not skip out on this rare gem of a restaurant!
Edit: I’m editing my review after returning since my initial review four-ish years ago.
I was super disappointed in the service - very chaotic and disorganized. The food was not on par with my initial review. The quality wasn’t there and the portions felt smaller. Will likely not return.
Please note that the photos were from my initial review.

The Big Plate Chicken is really good. The noodles are chewy and the potatoes are well-cooked. The chicken has a lot of flavour. This place is very authentic.

Delicious delicious food.
But super greasy. Not for the weak stomachs. But Bogda will make you stronger.
We had an INCREDIBLE dinner here tonight. The service was friendly, and the chef came out to greet everyone as well. The noodles were an amazing texture — you could tell it was fresh and homemade. The flavours were complex and layered. I can’t wait to go back and support this family restaurant. Wonderful, wonderful! Very thankful to have this establishment in the community. We drove from Guelph to eat here and look forward to coming again soon.
