Never on time for takeout orders, it has been years like this and it never changes. Almost there naan is not fresh, I watched them microwave it in front of me.

I've been coming to classic Indian since I was a little kid and it was still over off of Northfield, and the quality has not changed in all of that time (and I'm 31 now). The service? Incredible. Everyone is so friendly, very kind and warm and took the time to chat with us and explain how they're doing things with the business going forward. The food? Insane. The tikka masala was absolutely incredible and tasted so rich, and the saag paneer was the best I've ever had. I love this place so much and while I will be sad when the sit down stuff isn't available anymore, I'm glad I'll still be able to get takeout.

Blandest Indian food i have had in forever. The Naan bread is an insult to bread. Think of your most boring, suburban housewifes idea of what Indian food is and that's what this is. Had the mango chicken appetizer, bland, had the beef vindaloo, not hot, meat not tasty. The mango lasi was alright. The only way this place is rated other than 1 or 2 stars is if you never had good Indian food. To add to that, the service was painfully slow. Fortunately the staff were friendly and took feedback well otherwise this would have been a complete disaster

Fantastic Food!! Love everything that this family has on the menu and in the fridge ready for you to take home. Honestly the best sauces and soups available from a premade perspective. Great service, great food, great people and great atmosphere!

I brought my family and we enjoyed a selection of family style dishes. The staff was so friendly and even invited us to see how they were preparing their canned products in the back.
They cook everything in oil, not ghee. They often have vegan substitutes for things too. Like saag paneer, they use soy chunks instead of paneer. Their spice level is serious though so brace yourself. Lots of soups are vegan too.

As a delivery driver, I’ve picked up from this restaurant multiple times, and the order is never ready on time. There’s usually one person in the kitchen who seems completely unaware of what’s going on, and there’s no sense of urgency or coordination. If it’s this frustrating just picking up food, I honestly can’t imagine what the dine-in experience is like and I wouldn’t take the chance. If you’re thinking of ordering or eating here, I strongly recommend choosing another place. This one is not worth the wait or the hassle.

This is my third time eating here (I’ve been twice to their buffet last year summer 2024) the food is excellent, but the service I got today was awful. I waited quite a while to get seated and then waited about 11 minutes on my seat to give my order (I see him chatting the cook then fixing the cutlery on the side) and when my food arrived I was asked if I wanted water, I said yes but never received my water. I finished my lunch and was given ice cream which is included with the lunch in a tiny to go dip plastic container with no spoon. Did they want me to eat my ice cream with my big used dinner spoon? Again the server was no where to be found (there’s only 3 other tables eating there) I’ve never had such bad customer service before at a restaurant. I get up to pay and I let the waiter know that I never received my water I asked for and spoon to eat the ice cream. The waiter quickly grabs a water and I said I’m done eating now, I don’t need water anymore and I need to leave. must be because I’m a young female I blatantly got ignored? I don’t know, but I looked around and everyone else got water immediately and got served quicker by the waiter.
