I suggest you tell others it's actually inside the St. Jacob's market. I'm a local and had a hard time with the directions . Why is there no chip wagons around anymore.

Fries were undercooked and tasted like old
Oil. Burger has literally zero flavour which is unfortunate. All I could taste was the pickle on it. Wouldn’t recommend.

We had the pulled pork smash burger and a large fries. The burger was the best burger I have had in a long time. The fries were excellent too. The service was quite slow, but in the end it was well worth the wait.

Low quality beef in their burgers

Fries were soggy. Just my opinion, but when you tell the proprietor that you cannot eat pink pork because it gives you the ick, maybe they should just offer your $ back or even alternative options rather than argue with you about it being ‘safe’ to eat.

I mainly go to Conestoga fries to grab a poutine and I haven’t tried very many of their other dishes. But I swear every single time I’ve had their food I am always sick to stomach after, especially after the poutine. I don’t know what they are putting in their food but it sure can’t be good if I’m feeling poisoned every time.

A great go to for the classic poutine without costing too much. This review is strictly for the poutine where ive gone for the past 10+ years. There are two locations in st Jacobs. One is outdoors and another is indoors at one of the buildings. The fries come out piping hot and fresh. A good ratio of crisp exterior to plump but not overly plumpy interior. Cheese curds are used here and due to the hot gravy it melts appropriately as it should. Small poutine now cost $6.64. They also serve sweet potato fries, hot dogs and chicken fingers. Gravy is just right - flavourful and not salty for the standard poutine.
