D Spot Desserts Waterloo

I visited D Spot over the weekend to enjoy some dessert, but the experience was disappointing due to poor customer service. The plastic spoons they provided were flimsy with sharp edges, so I asked for a steel spoon, which they had. After explaining why I needed it, they reluctantly agreed but insisted on giving only one steel spoon per dessert since “it only comes with one.” This makes no sense, especially if someone wants to share. For a place that charges premium prices, I expected better service and a more customer-friendly approach.

This place is a scam please don't waste your money there ,my wife got a dry tastless tiny SlICE of strawberry shortcake for $11,very disappointed no good quality and very pricey

The desserts are a bit pricy but the portions are big and great to share with a group. There’s not a lot of seating inside but the desserts were made fairly quickly. The waffles were freshly made, with a slightly crunchy exterior and fluffy interior. We created our own waffle, adding bananas, strawberries, cheesecake bits, and cookie dough bits. The pistachio ice cream topping was also fairly good, although we wish there was a stronger pistachio flavour. The Oreo milkshake was good as well. Probably wouldn’t come back but it’s worth a visit.

Dpot has a vibrant and inviting ambiance with bright, attractive colors that immediately catch your attention. Their cakes and pastries are delicious, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We faced a small issue with our pastry, but they resolved it promptly and professionally. The overall experience was pleasant, and the excellent customer service stood out. I would definitely visit again soon and recommend it to others looking for a great dessert spot.

I visited on 3/3/25 at 6:00. I was served a waffle with very little sauce and toppings. It tasted almost raw and not delicious at all. Upon letting them know the situation, employees argued rudely and didn’t even make it right. Not recommended at all. Very poor customer service. Very poor taste. D-spot is good, just not this one. Please try other locations for righteous delivery of food and respected service :)

Service was slow. We were waiting to order and thinking we ask for our flavours and then proceed to pay but instead we were told to pay first and then get the ice cream we need which not usually happens whenever I'm in an ice cream shop. Otherwise, flavours were good.

Although I think this place is overrated and everything is expensive, it has really great varieties of food. I ordered in and I loved the package. I ordered a crepe. It could be more better, strawberries were not tasting that good. But overall it was average. I like vanilla ice cream and brownie at all times at this place.

This D spot location is the worst of all other D spots I visited in the past
The service is very bad.
We ordered for a milk cake and they offered it in a take out container for dine in lol, we are paying for the service and it’s worst.
I don’t recommend this location at all.
Go to Kitchener or Cambridge and enjoy the ambience with excellent service.
