Hi, I just dined in at this place and there was no air conditioning. I enquired to the staff and they said there is issue.
But they charged me as fine dining with no discounts.
Ordered my meal with family and kid and I felt uncomfortable as outside was much better. The staff said this is what and I have to pay for fine dining even though they can't provide any comfort to the family....I did spoke to the owner and he was so rude and said take 10% off and get away. Very bad experience on this very hype restaurant and I paid for the food which I didn't eat ..
Staff can't do anything as they are just following instruction from owner.
Just to let everyone know I do have all audio recording with staff and owner, if you want I can share here but I think its not professional.
At the end of the day I paid full bill, buy as a customer so unhappy.
The owner was bit arrogant and he said you have to pay the bill now and give discount on future orders..Sir I am not coming back here so that is irrelevant to me.
Very bad experience if you are going with kid or family..avoid it.

I went at Daal roti restaurant for my anniversary dinner. We went around 7:00pm there but there was not any option available for starter. I ordered couple of dishes which were basic but they didn’t had any of them.It was the worst customer service I found in Waterloo region. Only one girl was at cashier and we needed to waiting for 30min. Get an order every time we ask. The food was not good and it was too much tangy flavour. We got the Daal-roti special Paneer dish and Harabhara kabab which was so bad. Also we tried panipuri which feels like sitting from couple days and leftover. I had the worst experience. I won’t recommend anybody to spoil there day here.
Worst food yesterday night chicken is not fresh I think they want close restaurant because they are not serving fresh food also food safety officer want to check this restaurant kitchen and all stuff they spoiled my stomach

I recently visited Daal Roti restaurant at 9:00 PM, well before their closing time of 10:30 PM. Despite this, we were denied service for dinner. This was quite disappointing and did not meet our expectations of their operating hours.
Had kadai chicken and madras chicken curry along with butter naans. Service and food are good. Just right spice level

Best place to experience Indian authentic taste. The whole team Tanishka, Shreya, Vaibhav and Sneh were too welcoming, polite and punctual and taste of all the dishes are fabulous. Also the range of beverages they provide is too wide.

Enjoyed dining in at their Waterloo restaurant. Would recommend the methi chicken and egg fried rice. More importantly excellent customer service.
