Daldongnae Korean BBQ - Waterloo

D’service was great, good was excellent from the limited options I could have. I have a sesame allergy and almost every meat and side is prepared with sesame oils I could only eat 3/10 sides which was dissapointing. But I understand you can’t change how things are prepared. For a $30 meal it’s not worth it wouldn’t go back.

Great service, very attentive. High quality meats, this is a great place. First time here, not my last for sure. Keep up the great work.

Our favorite place when we think about BBQ Korean food

Above average KBBQ place where you can order eats accordingly. We typically order pork belly and short rib. Lots of food for two people, and you can refill your banchan (side dishes). It comes with fermented soybean stew and corn cheese. Meat is fresh, but it can get pricey for beef or those with big appetites. You can order mushrooms to grill as well.

This spot has been on our radar for a while but my boyfriend took me last night and it was incredible! The staff seemed extremely busy but didn’t hesitate to serve us when needed. The food was amazing. We tried 2 servings of beef and 1 of pork. Overall, the experience of cooking your own food on the table really sets it apart from other restaurants. The sides were incredible as well. My boyfriend and I were out of our comfort zone in terms of flavours but we ate everything! Love the authenticity of the ambiance and flavours. When we decided to order our third serving of meet the server changed out our grill for us which we would have never expected but goes to show they want you to enjoy your meal. We will be back.

They have some great halal options which was awesome because then we didn't need to go all the way to Mississauga to eat Korean! The only reason for 1 less star is because the girls sitting at the table behind us were sooo loud the whole restaurant could hear their conversation! It kinda ruined our anniversary dinner but still food and service were excellent 👌🏾

Daldongnae Korean BBQ and it was amazing! The food is very delicious, especially the galbi and samgyeopsal – the meat melts in your mouth, and the flavor is incredible. The staff are friendly, cheerful, and helped with all my questions. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, perfect for dining with family or friends. I would definitely go back!

We have visited this place multiple times it’s right in the uptown Waterloo on buzzing king street and open late.
The have quite a few varieties in meat my favourite is short ribs and kalbi! The best part is the sides, cheese corn pumpkin jjage and other stuff which makes the meal even more satisfying and the feeling of doing bbq on your own. The interior decor and ambience is really good and aesthetic.
