Went into get some of our favourite shawarma. We get DT quite regularly but went to this location and were severely disappointed. From the moment we walked in it smelt like rotten eggs/sewage. We then ordered and then almost immediately asked for a refund because the veggies looked soggy and possibly gone bad, they then pulled the chicken out from the back to put on the grill and it looked really bad as well.

Double taste used to be the best shawarma in town, I just went to this location for the first time (I don't live in Ontario anymore and this is the first I've been back in 2 years) and this shawarma was so disappointing.
Why do we let people of other ethnicities own/operate restaurants when they know nothing about that food. What do Indians know about shawarma?
I'm an immigrant myself and I would never open a restaurant selling food of another culture.

Food is alright, garlic sauce is kind of watery and not very flavorful. The staff give you funny looks if you ask for shawarma with just fries and garlic sauce, which I haven't experienced when ordering at other shawarma places in the area.

Used to be the best now is just terribly run. Phone number does not work to order ahead. Drove in to order only to be told they dont offer what I want even though its on the menu right in front of me. Girl at the counter didnt even say Hello, probably just didnt want to make the pizza. Wont come back.
My friend and I tried the Falaful on the rocks and the taste was really amazing also the customer service was so good. Apart from that the owner is so friendly. I recommend this place to visit and enjoy the shawarma.

This was my first time coming to this place for dine in. Overall i had a great experience. The food was amazing i tried their chicken shawarma poutine which was amazing. I also had their chicken wrap which was utterly fulfilling.
The staff member aanchal was so kind and patient and helpful at the same time.
