We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Amber J at East Side Mario’s Waterloo Tuesday evening, and she truly made our night! From the moment we were seated, Amber was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, checked in at just the right times, and made great recommendations (we highly suggest the primavera with goat cheese if you're undecided!).
What stood out most was her genuine kindness—she treated us like friends, not just customers. Even during a busy dinner rush, Amber kept everything running smoothly with a big smile on her face. It's rare to come across service this thoughtful and professional. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for Amber J by name!

Eastside Mario's is a great family friendly place, to enjoy a home cooked meal. The prices are a bit high but with rising food costs, I can understand why. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a variety of food choices but there have been a few times where the bread and pasta, have been mid. Overall, I would recommend!
We went there for lunch ? Food was delicious ( pasta Alfredo and Mangia Sampler). Waitress was super professional. I didn’t get that kind of high service in Canada for the long time! We will definitely come back!!!

We won't be going ever again. Food was so terrible. We ordered Hell's Kitchen, and chicken was so badly cooked or quality of chicken was so bad that you can't even cut it. Another which my son ordered was Chicken Parm pasta also wasn't done well. I used to go often with my kids, but now the food quality as well as the service has gone down so much. Never ever again!!
