If I could give 10 stars, I would! Everything was super fresh, and so delicious. Our server was unbelievably friendly, her service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!
Edit to this- We went tonight to celebrate our daughter's bday, we haven't been back in like 2 years. Our server (I think she's the owner) remembered us, and is literally the most wonderful person I've ever met! She is just soooooooo delightful, super sweet and kind, and I would like her to be my Auntie!!! Hubby and I have decided that we are going to make the drive much more frequently, and give them alllllll our business! Seriously 15/10! The food is always super amazing, but the service shines through more than anything! (I'm still full)
I was so hungry so I couldn't take any pictures - but I've been to this place several times. Really great service and the ramen is unmatched. I enjoyed the kunsei veal ramen - so far my favorite on the menu!
Overall ok . Ramen was good . Spicy ramen is good . Worth the price
Really good prices for solid japanese food
Amazing place with Halal Ramen!!! Definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to try Ramen. We got the suicide ramen and the beef brisket. I could definitely do with more beef - but the flavours of the broth are amazing and the soft boiled egg - so good!!!
This place is a new favourite!!
First time we tried going we were denied dining in at 7:45pm even though they closed at 9pm because the kitchen was closing. We were disappointed but ordered takoyaki to go and it was good :) not sure if its a one time thing but mentioning that incase.
We were determined to try again but accidentally went on a Tuesday (they’re closed on Tuesday, woops our fault).
Third times a charm. We went on a Friday at around 7pm and it was pretty empty. Service was super attentive and kind. You order online through a qr code which makes things really easy. Excellent prices for main portion sizes. All chicken and beef is HALAL!
Our order was kunsei veal brisket ramen ($13.99) and chicken katsu ramen ($12.49), chicken gyoza (5.49) and okonomiyaki (12.49).
The ramen was the star of the show. One bowl could feed two people. The ingredients were so fresh and delicious and it was excellent quality. The meats were cooked beautifully and the broth was so rich, balanced, and comforting. For the price it was truly impressive.
The chicken gyoza was not our favourite (not as flavourful/juicy/well textured as you’d hope) but the okonomiyaki was decent. It is similar texture and flavour as takoyaki which we preferred. They gave us free candies at the end 🍬
The atmosphere was calm, with art decorating the walls and even a piano with sheet music you are welcome to play! They had a quiet ghibli playlist on.
Overall the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious ramen, halal options, and price point will make us come back 100%!! I wish I knew about this place sooner.
We really love it here. My partner always gets the cod katsu ramen and I play around with the menu and am always pleasantly satisfied. The cozy piano playlist is always a comforting vibe
What a cute place! The ramen was really good. Not often when I finish the whole bowl. The noodle amount was perfect. De lish!
The food was pretty good, not amazing but certainly delicious. What stood out was the service. We came in with our 2.5yr old son. Our server immediately offered a high chair and pointed out an area with toys and games as well as bringing a game over to the table for him to play with. We felt so welcome. Service was just the right amount of attentiveness. Will definitely be back sometime with the older kiddo in tow as well.
Good Ramen.
This place is sterile and automated kinda what you experience in Japanese restaurants. Ordering is all done online.
Ramen broth was great, noodles were good, Gyoza are terrible but the tea is nice.
Prices are good

Great place to eat. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and excellent food.
Ramen and fried goods like the chicken and cod were delicious. Would definitely return to try more
Fresh Handmade Japanese Ramen and the chicken and beef options are HALAL! We tried it for the first time and it was a wonderful experience of new flavours! Definitely the best Ramen noodles I’ve ever had, and will be back again! The beef pieces were big and full of flavour. We chose not spicy. This dish was very new to me and it was soothing to the soul and packed with good flavours! I’ll have this any day please!
I’m intrigued to try more dishes from the Japanese culture and menu. It’s a beautiful culture and our waitress was absolutely adorable and so polite! It’s a family run business and we’re very happy to have its addition in Waterloo now.
Been here a few times and I'm always impressed with their ramen. Their noodles as just perfect in texture and taste. Loaded with toppings! Appetizers are a bit on the small (size) side, but tasty. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a change from your normal ramen place(s). It would be my go-to ramen place if there was a location in my city.
It was so vibey and cozy, the ramen broth was amazing and the beef was sooo good. Went here for valentines! Whenever I visit Waterloo I always go here. I think in the entirety of the GTA Exclamation and Tusjiri are the best ramen places there are
