This food was disgusting. Fries were saturated in grease, no flavour and brownish dark colour. Fish was really greasy. This was my first time getting take out. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Amazing food and a wonderful experience overall! The fish was fresh and flavorful with a perfectly crispy batter. The fries were hot and well-seasoned, and the tartar sauce paired really nicely. The restaurant was very clean and cozy, with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back again!

I wanna try the Nashville poutine someday and the Newfie fries... But for the price I wouldn't make it a regular stop.
1pc with unseasoned fries should be like $11, 2pc $16.

The French fries were overcooked and dry The fish seems smaller and you don't get as much coleslaw. I don't think I will return Golden was always great in the past.

The best around. Chips are cut by them ea. day and fish is cooked to perfection. I'd also like to comment on the service and cleanliness... awesome.
The fish was so light and not oily, the fries tasted like potatoes, and the tartar sauce was not overly heavy or sour! Very nice portion sizes, I shared with my mom and we are both full! No proper photo because we ate it all before remembering to do a review :)

Revisited Golden and we were very impressed. The Battered Mushrooms were fantastic. The Fish & Chips were tasty, not greasy, fries were crispy and hot. I will definitely be back and I hope that the next time you crave some delicious fish & chips, you visit Golden Fish & Chips. Bridgeport/Weber. New owner. Definately worth a revisit now. This is exactly what we look for in fish and chips..crispy and non greasy. Perfect
