The New owners of golden fish & chips have ruined what was once one of the better fish and chips places locally. Fish was okay but greasier, drier and the meat doesn't come off smoothly anymore - halibut was still smooth but greasier.Chips were not good. They were either overcooked or raw (in the same serving) whereas the previous owners made chips with the perfect crisp.Service was friendly but they mixed up a couple orders.I enjoy supporting small businesses but when their food has worsened drastically and quality is worse than a chain restaurant, there's an issue
