I’m exotic dancer who comes by every once in a while for work and I’ve got to say, the quality of the drinks has really gone downhill. I feel like the previous staff were better. They provided better service and the drinks they shook up tasted magnificent. I am pretty sure my favourite barista is now gone, which is so unfortunate. Now this place is an absolute disaster. I wouldn’t recommend. The toppings are unpredictable, sometimes the tapioca is okay and some other times it feels like I’m chewing on car tires. I seriously don’t know why people would willingly choose to come here for bubble tea. It’s not like Gong Cha is the only bubble tea shop in this area. Coco and Chatime are so much better and if the only bubble tea you’ve ever had is from Gong Cha, then I don’t think you can even say you’ve had real bubble tea. As someone who needs to have high energy for work, Gong Cha doesn’t make me feel as perky as when I have bubble tea from other shops if you’re catching my drift…

Roommate got food poisoning ONCE, but I'm pretty sure it's fine. She was fine. Also, I overheard someone on their first date, think they met on a dating app, so it was very entertaining. Pretty good drinks, it's a chain, you get what you get.

I usually don’t leave low reviews, but the temperature inside this location was incredibly uncomfortable. I came in hoping to enjoy a drink and study, but the heat was unbearable. My drink melted almost immediately, which was really disappointing. I honestly feel bad for the employees working in that kind of heat. Must be miserable. I was sweating just standing and waiting. I hope management can address the air conditioning situation soon because it really affects the overall experience.

I come quite often especially on Monday's after class and I always see the same barista! Annita is so nice and she recognizes me every time I come in - love seeing her! She makes my order so well and I love the Gongcha environment :)

I went to gong cha afterwards to make myself feel better and fill myself up back with fluids. The barista named Rebecca noticed the disheartened look on my face so after my drink was finished, I had the pleasure of her delivering it to my table when it was done. What a sweetheart.

I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees at Gongcha, in fact, whenever i ask them for help choosing toppings or drinks, they always choose tasty ones! The purple hair girl always gives the best advice

Probably the worst customer service i have gotten in my life living in Canada. me and my girlfriend ordered drinks. She got a mini pearl mango milk tea and i got the honey lemon tea. first of, the cashier that was wearing the glasses and had her hair in a bang and moved it out of her face, was moving at her own pace. . she was the only one behind the counter but it was 15 minutes before she started our drinks before another group walked in. Me and my gf got tired so we sit, and we were waiting on the bus also. another 10 minutes passed and there wasn’t a call for our drink. she just left them on the counter and started making the other group drinks. She didn’t speak or say anything to us. And it put quite a distaste in my mouth because i know tons of people that would be happy to have that job that she has in this economy. The worst customer service experience i had in my life.
Amazing thirst quenching fruit teas coupled with amazing services from the people at this Gong cha! Would recommend to stop by, especially on a hot summer day! 🌞

There was this lady standing awkwardly harassing people outside the gongcha this morning. The nice purple hair employee asked her to leave but she was refusing. I walked up to the situation and the crazy lady attacked me and ran away screaming. Super weird... The employee apologized for the incident and paid for my drink afterwards though :)

We were waiting outside the door right at opening super pumped to get our daily boba fix. The lady working today at opening with purple hair unlocked the door and looked at us so rudely, didn’t even acknowledge us. She was also on her phone like taking a selfie or something. She has major attitude and didn’t even set up the self serve. Crazy.

Ordered mango smoothie. It wasn’t real smoothie, it was ice 🧊 water and something chemical orange substance. Not mango at all , not a smoothie. Not recommended.
