The owners are adorable, the food is hot and fresh and FAST. The modest decor is nostalgic and comforting…we love this place!
Halibut better than haddock. Very pricy. Lady is nice though.
An interesting batter... Peppery I think?
Only ketchup and tartar sauce available. Not my jam.
If it was cheaper I might consider making it my fish place.
For now, my burger in kitchener reigns supreme. This is #2 though.
Got a family meal. Service was great, lady working was super welcoming and nice. Food was delicious! My family loved it ❤️
Awesome food - new to the area and looking for a great fish and chip place - we found it !
terrible place will never go back. 6$ for a side of gravy. stupid workers told me it came with it then charged me for it. garbage food wasn’t even worth it. don’t waste your money here
The fish and chips are amazing! The couple that run the place are so nice and friendly. Been going here for years now. Love it every time.
I have been eating here for a very very long time I don't even remember how long I love my fish and chips my family gets dinner for 16 ppl for GOOD FRIDAY since SUNNYS is now gone.
I can't say enough good things about this place! Best fish & chips in KW

Nice enough atmosphere and decent halibut. My main grump is with the lack of fries. When I order fish and chips, the box is supposed to be bursting with fries. Skimping on the fries is just mean. $17 for halibut and fries, sure no problem, I love halibut so I'll pay for it but I also expect a good amount of fries.

I've driven by this place daily on my way to and from work for years. Finally decided to give it a try. Service was quick and friendly, ordered the one piece halibut and chips, really good fish and chips. I'll be back.
Very disappointed to wait in line on Good Friday to find out they only have halibut left. Next time post a sign on your door to let customers know as you still had the haddock meals posted on the menu.
Small portions reflect, lower price. Fish had a burnt old oil taste. Fries are thinner, ok. No condiments provided. Need to negotiate to get three ketchup packages and a malt vinegar, not enough tarter for one piece of fish.
