My first time to Harper’s I got the Trio. It was tasty and the bread was excellent. However, if I am comparing them to the competition the price is way too expensive.

For deli sandwiches you have Jimmy’s Feed Co which is much cheaper and similar quality. You can get two sandwiches for the price of one at Harpers.

Then you are also getting compared to Jersey Mike’s in the $20 range. I can get a giant sub there which is much larger and has the same quality ingredients.

I am not disappointed in the product just the price. There is a sweet spot between Jimmy’s and Jersey Mikes where your prices should land to give your customers better value.

Awesome staff!

I grew up in a family that ran a successful restaurant in Kitchener for 27 years, which my parents eventually sold when they retired. One of our secrets to success was putting an emphasis on customer service. If you can't treat your customers like you want them to return, then what do you really have?

I'm amazed at how the staff of Harper's Deli actually treat customers like they appreciate their business. A small thing like that is hard to find these days, but it goes a long way in earning repeat business.

Great job!

These subs definitely live up to the hype! Got the Trio plus which was fresh, delicious and filling. Worth the splurge every once in a while.

🔥 Just tried the Capocollo Sammy from Harper’s Deli and wow… it absolutely hit the spot! 🥪👌

The flavor was on point — fresh, stacked perfectly, and honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Harper’s never disappoints, and they’ve even leveled up their branding with that new sticker — small touch, but it really makes them stand out.

If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. Sometimes it’s the simple things — like a killer sandwich — that just make your whole day better. 🙌

Go check them out, support local, and thank me later 😋

Just visited this location for the first time. We were a greeted by a nice young lady and she gave us a brief introduction to the menu. I went with a trio special which contains 3 different deli meats. Also, all sandwiches are 10 inches. One sandwich and a can of Coke came to $21 .
I’d say the quality was perfect but I expected a little more… the taste of olive oil and vinegar was overpowering and I couldn’t taste the meat much. However, the presentation was nice and the bread was fresh and delicious.

We are locals, and constantly looking for good stuff in this area. We are delighted to see a new deli sandwich place open up!

My wife stopped in and grabbed us two subs, a genoa, and a turkey. Bread was good, sesame seed crusted all around and fresh baked. Meat was great, no complaints, loved the salami, really like the oil and vinegar dressing, I'd get both again for sure

The thing is..

I had read the negatives before going so I was already aware the sandwiches were on the higher end of things at $15 a piece -- what I wasn't really prepared for was a $2 charge for mayo. We put mayo on 2 sandwiches and it cost us an additional $4 -- and then the mayo was forgotten on our sandwiches completely!

I didn't call in or anything because I'm hopeful these guys will remember us and understand we didn't get the mayo we paid for next order and will add it for us

$4 mayo is a tough pill to swallow though. I'd understand 50 cents or something maybe, but $2 per sandwich, I'm guessing it must be specialty mayo?

Anyways, we hopefully have a free addition of it next time, so I will report back once I get to try it -- I love mayo on a turkey sandwich so I'm sure it will be even better!

Will update soon after next visit

We ordered about 50 sandwiches for our staff appreciation lunch. The staff loved it, and the sandwiches were fresh, the ordering was easy and staff were fantastic!! I highly recommend Harper's Deli for 1 or as many as you can eat!! Great to support a local family business too!
