I’ve been going to Homestyle Diner for over a decade, back when I was in university. This was our go to spot for breakfast in the morning. As well, the baked goods were always the best. I had the chance to go back again this week and the food did not disappoint. I love the fact that I can have classic meals from when I was growing up. Meatloaf was a staple for my family, and this diner knocked it out of the park. The mashed potatoes were the perfect side as well. Of course the breakfast was on par and super filling. Finished this off with a classic cream pie that’s freshly made there. It’s a cute older restaurant inside but the food speaks for itself. I highly suggest you support local and try Homestyle. I believe they’ve been open for almost 30 years!!!

I ordered a turkey dinner on Christmas Eve, and I was very pleased with the experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The portion size was very generous—more than enough for a satisfying holiday meal. Everything was packed nicely and arrived in good condition. Overall, it was a great value and made my Christmas Eve dinner special. I would definitely order again.

Rosie was amazing. Hadn’t met her before. She handled our large group well. Disappointed in the French onion soup. Expected bread in and cheese melted all around. Like the Charcoal!

Absolutely love coming here! This is the go-to spot when the family comes to KW for a visit. Service is always super friendly. My one complaint is with the portion sizes, as they have notably shrunk in the last ~4-6 months. Ordered takeout about a month ago and only received 8 onion rings in my upgraded side. Food was tasty but I will say I was disappointed I paid an upcharge and got less food. Other than that this place is still one of my favourite in Waterloo!

I recently visited Homestyle Diner for breakfast after hearing great things about the place, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I went with my friends and we ordered pancakes, eggs Benedict, and a delicious burger. Everything was served hot, fresh, and the portions were amazing for the price. The location has a cozy, homely feel that makes you instantly comfortable. The servers were incredibly polite and always smiling, which really made us feel special and welcomed. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for delicious food, warm service, and great value!
This place is absolutely amazing! They have great service there and the food is absolutely to die for. The burgers are so very flavourful here and definitely made with lots of effort of care just like all their other items on the menu. Very much recommend this place for anyone interested in having a good time, you’ll be satisfied.

It was me and my cousins who went there and they got us food and they were super nice everything came out supper delicious and it was calm and there wifi is supper good I think you should try therr cookies there fantastic and delicious I wanted to say you should go and try it out for yourself that’s gonna be a new spot your gonna eat at everyday it’s so good and you should try it out 🤩🤩🤩
