I am an Iranian who truly knows what authentic Iranian and Persian food is. Whenever I want to test whether a restaurant has a good chef who really understands Persian cuisine, I order barg kebab or shishlik (lamb chops).
It was my first time here, and I ordered shishlik. Honestly, it was a shame to call it shishlik! They clearly don’t even know which cuts of lamb should be used. What they served was just some random pieces with a little bone, put together and called “shishlik.”
If you are Iranian, please don’t waste your money on this dish. If you are not Iranian, please note that this is not what we call or make as shishlik in Persian cuisine. At best, you might call it an Afghan-style kebab.
In no part of Iran would you ever see such a version of shishlik. I am very disappointed that they misuse the Persian kebab name and serve this to customers. I wish I could give zero star
