Hungry and ordering right after a workout you expect to get what you ordered. When you order Pineapple chicken, and orange chicken, and it looks nothing like what is presented in the menu you are not a happy person. Pictures, both dishes have breaded chicken for the orders, both have sauce in the color of the fruit with the dishes. What I got was a ''hodge podge' of unseasoned/ un-breaded chicken in both, with a bunch of vegetables caned pineapple added to one and slices oranges peel in added to the other. Not only did it's taste have a lack luster flavor, the after taste was disgusting, wish I had opened it to check my food prior to having it.
The restaurant always seems to be in chaos. We ordered four dishes, but only received the first two — the rest never arrived. Instead of getting the missing dishes, we were handed the bill.
To make things worse, the owner was yelling at the employees in a condescending manner, which was uncomfortable to witness. No one deserves to be treated like that.
The food was okay, but the prices are higher than average for the KW region.
Kam Yin Chinese Restaurant blew me away with its depth of flavor and warm service. Felt like home-cooked comfort!
Tried Kam Yin Chinese Restaurant for the first time and I’m honestly impressed. The flavors were authentic, the service was quick, and the ambiance was cozy. Definitely going back for more!
Kam Yin is a hidden gem for authentic Chinese food that will have you craving more! Every dish is made fresh daily with traditional spices and cooked to perfection. I stopped by for a quick dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions, fast service, and flavors that tasted just like real home-style cooking.
The mushroom fried rice was over cooked. There was almost no chicken in the lemon chicken it was 90% batter. The chicken chow mein had an odd taste to it. Overall we were both very disappointed in our meals. We have had much better there in the past.
Food is good, service is good, recommend !
Food is really good and the service is amazing.
We always order here, always good but today was disappointing, they are putting the combo plate in a smaller square container and the chicken with the lemon sause was put on top of the rice that was greasy. Disappointed
Comfort food redefined with every bite of our classic Chinese dishes.

Absolutely rude new owners. Vaping while I was trying to eat left nauseous. After I calmed down, I went back and had my money returned. Employees did not know the new owners name very odd. Have my money back. Sad because my family has been coming here for 15 years now, never again.

Fantastic experience at Kam Yin! Delicious food, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. Easily the best Chinese restaurant in town! Five stars!

There were about 12 of us for a joint birthday outing. Though the service was quick we were the only ones dining in. The food however wasn't the best. The egg rolls were over done and partially burnt. The rice tasted like it was microwaved and not very hot. I had a coffee but was never offered another. Probably because of this and the distance from where I live I won't be going back.

KAM YIN knows how to ruin a night by providing sub standard food. Breaded shrimp were battered in thick dough. No breading. Likewise Jardoo wings boiled and dipped in thick flour batter. See photos. Disgusting. I returned the product to head kitchen person and they say that's just the way it is. Oh my!. Didn't offer refund or any token. Will never go there again. Kam Yin used to be a highly rated. Beware.
