KEN Sushi House Phillip Square

We ordered a massive vegetarian sushi roll and it was filling, as was the edamame, the tempura veggies and especially the karaage chicken. Lovely ambiance and very attentive staff.

From waiting to be seated to waiting to pay, it takes forever to get service. The waitress always seems rushed and walks away before you can even finish your request. The food is good, but the service 👎

So delicious! The kalbi dish is always a 10/10, and the service is amazing!

Apr 2025 update: service is still great! Sushi rolls I find are not fantastic, the rice is almost too sticky, leading to a really chewy bite. I had the seafood udon soup which was delicious but the spicy seafood udon soup was way too spicy.

Sushi is not fresh, looks made it long time ago.
Very disappointed with it.

Best sushi! I have been eating here for a few years now, and I eat here very frequently. It has honestly ruined all other sushi for me, because no other sushi compares. I can attest that both eating in restaurant and ordering delivery from them, it is always good. Their service is friendly as well. It is by far my favourite restaurant and it will continue to be my go to sushi spot for years to come. Thank you for all the wonderful meals I have enjoyed here!

Have gone for lunch a couple of times and the food and service are excellent. Today we had a bento box and tempura lunch. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Tempura was very crispy. Service is friendly. I will definitely be back.

This place has the atmosphere of a cool little diner. The servers HUSTLE and do so with a smile. Loved the sushi and the green tea was endless.
