If I was allowed to give to give the Trio a 20 star review, I would do it. First off. We were celebrating my fiancees New Job opportunity, and they personalized the menu to congratulate her. Secondly, the staff are extremely professional. They treat you like royalty. And lastly, but definitely not least, the food. When I say that this is the best food I've had in my life I mean it. The quality of all the dishes absolutely blew us away. As someone who cooks and BBQs as a hobby, I was humbled by the perfection of how they cooked their meats. I hope to one day be able to cook a striploin steak half as good as what I had.
And finally. Benoit. Benoit is an absolute gentleman and a true expert in the food industry. He is a friendly face but also a knowledgeable and passionate person.
If I could I would eat at the Trio everyday.
Stopped in for an impromptu Friday night dinner on the recommendation of a local friend, and we’re so glad we did.
We were warmly welcomed by staff and seated right away despite not having a reservation which was a great start to the evening. The menu is on the smaller side, but it’s well-curated, with unique dishes that feel intentional and refined. They recently swapped out their Wagyu steak for striploin due to the ongoing trade-related sourcing concerns. Disappointing as this may be it was refreshing to see a restaurant make thoughtful, transparent choices like that.
Service throughout the night was excellent. Our server, Natalie, was friendly, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations.
To start, we shared the Roasted Pork Belly with chimichurri, radish, and apple. It had a nice balance of sweet and savoury, though I would have loved a touch more sweetness to offset the richness, maybe an apple compote would’ve done the trick. Still, a solid 4/5.
My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass with peas, asparagus, and fennel in a beurre blanc sauce. The fish was wild, not farmed (a major plus), and very fresh. Beautiful textures and flavours, though it leaned a bit salty for our taste. Not enough to ruin the dish, but enough to notice. A well deserved 4.5/5.
I went with the Iberico Pork (Chop), paired with red pepper jam, Brussel sprouts, and sauce vierge. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. The sprouts even had a hint of sweetness, which paired nicely. Only small issue was the amount of oil left on the plate. It worked out for me since I used the remaining focaccia to soak it up, but worth noting. 4.5/5.
Speaking of focaccia, WOW! Probably the best I’ve had. Fresh, warm, crunchy crust, and incredibly flavourful. Served with a side of cream cheese with a touch of honey, and black pepper. It was just a fantastic sweet/savoury combo but not even needed since the focaccia was amazing by take! Easy 6/5. Worth going back for this alone.
We ended with the Chocolate Crémeux with pistachio crumble, feuilletine, and pistachio ice cream. The cremeux was almost too rich on its own, but perfectly balanced once you get everything in one bite. Creamy, crunchy, not overly sweet. It was an ideal way to finish the meal. 5/5.
They were kind enough to bring a palette cleanser after we had finished everything. Ours was a hazelnut biscotti. It was a nice, crunchy way to end our evening while waiting for the cheque.
Overall, this place lives up to the hype. Their current 4.7-star rating is spot on. Great food, warm atmosphere, and genuinely thoughtful service. We’ll definitely be back.
Great experience. If you’ve got a date, bring them here. The food along gives you something to talk about. The service is top notch.
If you’re on the fence, just try it out!
Excellent dining experience - impeccable service and beautifully crafted, flavourful dishes.
Food was fantastic and service was also amazing. Will definitely be back for the tasting menu!
We often go to Trio to celebrate big life events and they nail it every single time. Most recently we went to celebrate a birthday and it was next level. So much thought goes into the menu, the flavours, the pairings! Our table enjoyed an absolutely incredible halibut with caviar and a dry aged duck that I simply cannot shake… all of this while being completely spoiled by Benoit our waiter. Trio makes this level of dining accessible and we will keep returning to see what Ben and his team come up with next! Make this your go-to celebration spot, you will not be disappointed.
The food was not great but the wine selection was pretty good.
Incredibly stinky big question why.
My wife and I enjoyed the special Norwegian dinner. Benoit, the general manager and sommelier, was a gracious host and did an amazing wine pairing with the food. We love the idea of theme nights for dinner and hope they continue. We hope the next time they offer Scandinavian cuisine that they serve mead! Skål!

I took my husband here for his birthday. We did the menu tasting with wine pairing and it was such a pleasant experience. The food and service was amazing, so was our sommelier Beniot, who paired our meals with great tasting wine. The food was definitely high quality. The portions from the menu tasting are small since it was a tasting menu but it’s a good option if you want to try different dishes from the menu. I will definitely be coming back!!

Trio Restaurant was a great place to stop for a drink and appetizer. We tried the beer and some appetizers, and both were really good. There was live music during our visit, and the performer was excellent—he sang and played the guitar really well, which made for a great atmosphere. Overall, a nice spot to relax with good food, drinks, and entertainment!

I took my wife here for our first anniversary. Needless to say, we think we've found our anniversary restaurant in TRIO! I really do not know where to start with how fantastic they are in all facets of dinning. Benoit took such amazing care of us as well as the other staff, but Beniot, he is very good at his job and his wine pairing and cocktails are sublime. The food, my my my, the food is divine. We ordered the tasting menu and while it was a feast of sorts, from appetizers to dessert, I honestly can still remember ever dish! The care and attention is evident and I look forward to coming back!
Great, delicious food, carefully prepared. Dishes are artfully presented, portions are more than satisfying and service is outstanding. This is an ideal venue for a special occasion. Benoit, the maitre'd is warm, enthusiastic and relentless in his pursuit of satisfied customers. 5 stars out of 5.
