We were really surprised by their lunch buffet for $16.50 and so many choices! Every time we went back from our table, there was a new dish coming out from the kitchen. It was funny because we ate lunch there and then came back for dinner to use their promo, pay for three dinners and get one free. The dinner dishes were totally different from lunch, which was nice. Their chicken wings were always available, which was a big plus, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, a really good buffet with lots of variety.

I am here with my elderly father for a Friday brunch. Service is friendly. I found the shrimp crystal dumplings to be dry and expired? Very gross I spat it out of my napkin but they refunded. The rest of the food tasted ok. Best part was the $5 ginger oysters. Super Tasty. I would not recommend to another friend but not a bad spot.

I ordered few take out food at this restaurant King Tin in Waterloo on Saturday Sept. 20, 2025 food taste good my only complaint is the lemon chicken i ordered wasn’t even a lemon chicken it’s a fried flour with lemon sauce on the side, there was NO chicken at all it was all deep fried flour (Breaded), very disappointing. It’s so shameful to give this to your customer.

I fully agree with some others posting about the quality of their food. It's probably THE WORST Chinese food in town. But I would also like to add that the service is just as bad. Zero star for the clueless and rude staff there.

It was not the best. Some parts were burnt. The food was very oily and the meat was tasting off. I won’t be ordering again.
I went in here as I heard about their lunch buffet special for $14.75. There were limited options but I think it was enough for the price. The best thing was hot and sour soup but everything else was below par and mid. Most of the things after eating I did not feel good to be honest but that’s what you get for the price. It was only a one time experience for me but the price is unbeatable but I think you can eat good quality food elsewhere with same price maybe not much options but it will be good quality than king tin for sure.

We went after 2 on a Sunday. There were only 2 other tables and the servers are tentative. Yet, the dim sum here got to be the worst I had in my life. Being a Cantonese growing up with dim sum, I'm pretty sure these are frozen premade dim sum reheated. I understand a dim sum c-fu (chef) is really hard to find but they are very bad quality frozen dimsum. The skin of the shrimp dumpling fell apart while picking up, the shrimp smelled rotten. The BBQ pork buns are chalky and hard and the shrimp rolls are thick and not fresh. I had high hopes for the sweet and sour pork. This dish must stay crunchy but the meat was soggy, I can make it better at home. This is really disappointing.
