Great little Indian-Nepali restaurant and very tasty food. Service was prompt and we enjoyed the little chat we had with the owner.
Their indo-chinese dishes are the best. Especially their noodles are must try. Perfectly fried and spiced. I told them to make it extra spicy and it was just the right amount. And their portions are huge. Be prepared to be full or get some takeout containers when you leave!
They also have nice little collection of food from Nepal you don't find anywhere in the Waterloo region.

This restaurant is a hidden jem. The goat biriyani and steamed momos are hands down the best in town. They consistently maintain high standards. I wish them all the best and hope they keep up the good work.

Our family and I love ordering various dishes from here. Each dish is prepared fresh and very flavorful with lovely aromatic spices. The butter chicken, bhindi masala, baingan bhaji, lamb roganjosh with garlic naan and basmati rice are some of our favourites. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Koh-i-noor is definitely a restaurant I would recommend and it's conveniently located in Waterloo with plenty of parking and nearby the Universities.

I Went there one day few months back just to find the curry had a bad smell..Probably was there for last 4-5 days. Tried to reach out to the owner, they didnt respond properly. The lady was kinda rude and demeaning ....The ambience was kind of okay though.

Went to Koh-I-Noor today and had an awesome first dine-in experience. The chicken korma was fantastic and the butter chicken was 10/10. We were greeted with great service and they were on top of making sure everything was perfect for us. Great little hidden gem in Waterloo. Definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Koh-I-Noor Indian & Nepalese Cuisine! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
I started with the chicken and shrimp soup—it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. A great way to begin the meal! For the mains, I ordered the veg noodles and chili chicken, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The noodles were cooked just right with fresh vegetables and authentic spices, while the chili chicken was tender, spicy, and bursting with bold flavors.
The food tasted fresh, homemade, and full of authentic Indian and Nepalese flavor. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the customer service here.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy atmosphere, amazing food, and friendly service. I will definitely be coming back!

If you’re looking for a satisfying and budget-friendly vegetarian thali in Waterloo, Koh-I-Noor is a hidden gem. Their veg thali is fresh, flavorful, and super filling.
The food tastes homemade and comforting, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. On top of that, the service is amazing. The people there are genuinely kind, welcoming, and make you feel right at home.

Superior Indian food, with a large and interesting menu. Had to order french fries for my 6yro -- it's all she'll eat -- and even they were well cooked. Service was first rate. Friendly and professional.
