One of the best kimbap I’ve ever tried. LooBabBab goes way beyond your typical kimbap — it’s truly on another level. The food is incredibly fresh, well-seasoned, and feels healthy without compromising flavour. I love that the ingredients taste clean and high-quality. Portions are just right and perfect for a nutritious meal on the go. Definitely a hidden gem!

It’s my first time and I just tried the lobapbap. OMG it was surprisingly good! The vegetables are very fresh and it’s not like any other kimbap place that always shove with so much rice, the rice here is perfectly layered! I’m definitely coming back to try other things!

Loobapbap used to be my go-to every time I craved for Korean food, but I had a very terrible experience last night. My sister had an online order to pick up, while I ordered a separate walk-in order when we got there around 8:30. The cashier might have misunderstood that our order would be the same order, but we confirmed a couple times and what we said were very clear, so I waited for about 20 minutes until I saw they were all cleaning only to know that they did not make my order. I asked them if my order was ready, and they clearly did not intend to solve the problem, did not even apologize for missing the order or offer any compensation. I've worked in restaurants, I do not like not being understanding or make a scene in this situation. However, it is totally unacceptable that when you know you have missed an order and that the customer has already waited for 20 minutes to not get the food they have paid for. Food could've been 5-star, but I didn't have the food. Telling all my friends not to go there anymore!
Update: I texted and got no reply! It’s almost been a week

Flavour of the Kimbap is really good, but wish the rice they use had bigger grains. The chicken rice bowl was also good, I appreciated how generous they are with the protein. Would be good to get some kimchi in the bowl!

i always stop here when im back in waterloo! very flavorful and delicious kimbap that is worth getting! my fave is the spicy pork kimbap! i love how our kimbaps were freshly made and the servings were very filling!!!! :)

I got 3 gimbops (tuna, Bulgogi, and Loobapbap) as a take-out order. The gimbops were very big, almost twice the size of a normal gimbop. They taste a bit different from the traditional gimbop so I was a bit surprised. They could have used a little less purple pickled cabbage which is not a common ingredient in a gimbop. I would say that their food is not traditional gimbop but a fresh new take on it. Also, parking nearby was really difficult to find on a Saturday night.
Kimbap was phenomenal. Had the spicy pork and tuna. Both were exceptionally tasty.
Had crab and avocado egg toast and they has a bit of sweetness and eggs completely compliment each other perfectly.
Rice cake and tofu special was tangy and great blend of flavor. Cheese does make it more like a pountine maybe we had it sat too long.

Their bulgogi roll was one of the best kimbap I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t usually like kimbap because they can get very dry, but this was was juicy, it was packed with genuine love and care, and so nutritious. It tastes as appetizing as it looks, and it was a perfect snack for me. I’d say the prices are on the higher side, but seeing how they really took their time and effort to make such a compelling meal for us, I think it was worth it.
