I don’t ever do reviews but I just went to this place for my first time, it has “cafe” in it’s name but they refused to sell me a coffee and instead said “we’re not selling anymore coffee today, pick something else”… seriously? A coffee shop not selling coffee. Not because they said they were out, nope, just that “they weren’t selling anymore of it for the day” well it’s only 5:00pm and they close at 8:00pm. I used to work at a similar coffee shop, coffee bean bags cost money I understand but to refuse a cup of coffee to a customer? That’s a joke. Not coming here again

My go to cafe in Waterloo. The drinks are great (the matcha is always on point!) and the service/atmosphere is unmatched. If you go on a weekend and want to study/sit for a while, make sure to get there early, it fills up fast! One of my favourite places in the city.

I havent tried anything but the Americano, but i think their specialty drink are a lot better (from what i have heard)! Desserts are yummy! But the people experiences and service is great! Love to come here with friends

As a loyal customer for years, regrettably I am never going back again. Some staff and the manager lady are consistently rude to me that finally made my experience unbearable. If a business doesn’t even value their loyal customers it shouldn’t keep running. There are lots of cafes in the area that have warm and professional employees, I strongly suggest going somewhere else for an enjoyable time.

In 5yrs of enjoying a flatt white anywhere I travel, Midnight Run in Waterloo was the best ever! Smooth & most delicious.
Fantastic place to get a coffee and enjoy a cozy environment! Aromatic coffee beans, whole milk, great selection of syrups and baristas/front counter people who are awesome. Really enjoyed my first visit, thanks Liam and Nate!

This place is plagued by an uncivilized hostile staff and management. They don't appreciate routine customers. Not a bit. They even gossip about customers. If you value being treated with courtesy and professionalism, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. The experience is simply not worth it.
