I love these places that are the gems that the locals know and enjoy. Forget the big chain franchises and find these kinds of places. The wings here are phenomenal. Big and delicious!
Stopped to grab some food before our sons football game. SO THANKFUL we landed at such an awesome spot. The food was amazing we had the wings ( INSANE ) the Santa Fe Salad ( UNREAL and SO BIG) The staff were amazing as we were in a rush and our Server Kuira was prompt, helpful and so wonderful!! The DRINKS !! WOW A picture worthy Caesar and an AMAZING Peach Sangria ! The cherry on the cake was the absolute reasonable prices! All this while we rocked the wrong shade of purple! Thanks for the awesome experience but....Go Mustangs 💜
Stopped in at this fabulous establishment before a football game. Was hands down best wings I’ve ever had and an amazing Caesar the way they should be made with the best garnish on top as-well. Kuira was our server and she was promt friendly and accommodating to our tight schedule would recommend Morty’s pub to anyone I know going to Waterloo.
Absolutely loved the treatment here they sat us up at the tall tables when there were no booths. Great amount of nachos for price
Let me start by saying we ordered the wings. We ordered too much. Didn't realize the wings would be so large. If you like plump wings, you'll like this place. I don't, I like the slim wings. Putting that aside, the wings were tasty, just not my style. The wife liked them. Had the onion rings too, good hot, but left an oily after-taste when cold.
We use Jay Taylor’s meeting room at Morty’s Pub for our weekly KWBGG meetings, and it’s always a great experience. The food is excellent, and the space is perfect for functions and gatherings. Jay is also incredibly community-driven—he organizes an annual toy drive in support of the Waterloo Knights of Columbus New Toys for Needy Kids campaign. He’s well known and respected in the community for his generosity and commitment. Highly recommended!
Neat, cool place. Staff was great. Fish & Chips plate was costly.
Good food but $30 for 2 lbs of wings is getting nuts.
Great atmosphere and great staff and drinks and food.
The chicken wings were delicious. Fantastic view of the donut shop across the street. Beer was served cold.

Morty's is a friendly pub with quality food (best wings anywhere), excellent atmosphere and welcoming staff. What makes Morty's special is their attention to detail from the quality of the food to their service.
Best wings in KW
I ordered mild wings. They were cold, tough, and tasted like ketchup. The other people at. My table ordered burgers. Burgers were good, fries were not great. Server seemed distracted and disinterested. Did not come ask if the food was ok. Atmosphere is great if you want to watch sports. Casual and fun.
