My husband and I just finished eating some really good chicken wings. We ordered the butter hot and chipotle mustard and both were a hit!

General Manager of all people was super rude to my friend and I. We walked out after being seated. Will never be back here again after that experience.

The ultimate classic pub experience! Morty's is a true Waterloo institution, and for good reason. The atmosphere is always lively, welcoming, and has that perfect local pub charm. You absolutely have to get the wings, they are legendary for a reason!

Food had hair in it. Remade it, still charged for it. Server had 0 intentions of talking or making conversation / building rapport.

I went to Morty’s pub last night. I had not been there in a while so I thought I would check it out. The service was very slow. When we went there it was not even that busy. I was also very disappointed with my food. The garlic bread with cheese was awful and not cooked all the way through. My fries were cold and my chicken wings hardly had any sauce on them. I won’t be going back again.

I don't know if it's the norm now, it had been a while since I'd eaten here, but I was in for lunch the other day with coworkers and it took a good amount of time before we got our food order in (about 30 mins after we were seated, 20 mins after our drink order was taken) and then the food took another 30 minutes. We had to get everything packed up so we could make it back to work. None of the orders were ones that would take a long time to make (two wraps, two wing orders, and a sandwich), and 3 out of 5 were wrong. We all finished our drinks well before one of us went in to ask that the meals be packed up. We also got major stink eye from the staff on our way out. It would be different if it was busy, but it wasn't, there was one guy sitting at the bar, and two people came to sit on the patio half way through our lunch. I don't think I'll be back any time soon

Went for lunch today with coworkers. When we arrived there was no one there, the place was practically empty. We waited almost 10 minutes to be able to place a drink order. We then waited again to be able to order food, much longer than seemed reasonable. We waited for food, all of us finishing our drinks while we were waiting that's how long it was. No one checked in to see if we wanted more drinks. Looked at our watches and realized we have been there over an hour already. One of us popped inside and asked for the food to be boxed and the bills as we now need to go back to work.
When we got the food several orders were wrong but now out of time to fix it we needed to go. We paid and went to leave. On the way out the door the stink face on the waitress was unbelievable . I probably wouldn't have bothered writing a review but that was the kind of rude that made the decision to write it.
On a weekday, at noon, 5 women dressed in business casual attire it was obvious that we were not there for the afternoon and some sort of reasonable time should have been observed. To have 3 of 5 orders wrong seems a bit much too and the response of well I put it in the machine correctly instead of can we fix it...... Come on. This experience sucks because you want to support a business that has been a local staple, but at what cost? Will I return, maybe. Durring lunch hour, never.
