We ordered a deal, get 50% off specialty pizza but we noticed right away they cheaped out on toppings and crust making it extra thin. My guess is they knew it was half off so they skimped on toppings and dough. Ppl aren’t stupid , I imagine they think they out smarted customers who receive deals so they can maximize profits and product. However, doing this tactic defeats the purpose of getting a good deal when you’re purposefully altering the quality of food… people notice , and lesson learned. I’d prefer quality over quantity.

Ordered 2 larges and a 2L. This is the third time that they called me to say that they were out of the 2L I wanted and my only choices were 2 shitty brands. Order took a full 60 minutes to deliver, and the pizza was so cold I had to put it in the microwave after I got it.
These guys need to get their shit together. Absolutely awful.

If I could leave a worse review I would have. Waited over an hour now for a pizza that was supposed to be delivered within 44 minutes of ordering. Called to inquire where it was and were told it’s still not ready and hasn’t even been made. No explanation as to why just “sorry”. Told her we would like to cancel was asked 3 times if we were sure and after the last time she just hung up the phone. We usually order from here but quite literally never again.

Came for the $1.50 slice they advertised to compete with city pizza and sticking with city pizza. Firstly the advertisement is false: they charge $1.62. Secondly, service is terrible, the guy has a mean look on his face and stares you down like he hates you. Lastly, pizza is smaller, thinner pepperoni, blocky like cheese that isn’t melted, and tasteless crust. Never coming again

Wrong advertisement/ complicated
It shows buy 1 cheese pizza or pepperoni and get 1 free. I order 14” pepperoni and I didn’t get the free one. I called the restaurant and they told me to complain to Uber. Secondly also I ordered 2 litres of Mountain Dew and they send me 3 small once with out any notice or confirmation. I don’t understand. I will never order again from this place. Be aware clients. Thanks
I am not one to leave reviews and this may be the second review I’ve left in my entire life so I’m definitely not one to complain but this time I had to.
It seems like more and more business are cutting corners and being frugal with ingredients and/or toppings. We get it, the economy sucks balls, but you can’t run a successful business when food is inconsistent, especially a franchise. I have never had Poppa Johns pizza and now I know why. This was the absolute worst excuse of a pizza I have ever had. I ordered two mediums with extra cheese that were buy one get one at reg. $20 each (which even at this deal is a crazy small thin pizza for your money). I was lucky to have 1-2 pepperonis per slice, in fact, one slice had one pepperoni and if that was the extra cheese I ordered, then regular cheese would be no cheese. I checked the site to see what their pizzas SHOULD look like as advertised and again, ??♂️ absolutely embarrassing.
Here is a photo of the pizza I received and a photo of a pizza as advertised on their website. Can you tell the difference?
People quit wasting your money while corporations and franchises cut costs and in return charge you more! I’m not blaming the staff who are told what to do, I’m blaming the cheap owners.
