I have been a customer for years and today I was there with my 6 year old boy there around 12:30pm. The customer service was -1. The lady was not very friendly, no smiles, serious face. She is like next. It's like she couldn't wait to get rid of us to serve another customer to make money. I bought pierogies for my son to eat there and pierogies to bring home. I go there every two weeks to get pierogies but I will not buy pierogies there again. I will find somewhere else to get them. We were at the St. Jacobs farmers market.
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all.
Service: 1
Different foreign food culutures well done by locals
The locals' maple syrup is just awesome
Apple Fritters!!!
The fruits and vegetables are an incredibly great deal (located in the tents outside of the buildings)! Across the street is an antiques building where you can spend time browsing after
Fritters Rock! Don’t go home without em!
Take home a gigantic pizza for $20 bucks and change. But before you go, buy bacon from Charles Meats, a coffee at Carole’s, cheese from Mickey’s, chicken from Hilltop, and of course, apple fritters.
The butter tarts at DALES baking in the tent are awesome also othee baked goods
Two words: summer sausage Also there's a man who sells his own bread, you'll know him by his thick accent, cardboard boxes, and willingness to talk to you about literally everything. Good times.
What is not great here? Amazing fresh produce, local artisans, local business, bakery goods, honey, maple syrup, gifts... The best place
Restaurantji Recommends
It's hard to find non-fried food here, so if you want to eat healthy you better bring snacks or come full. That being said, I really enjoyed Just'a'Meatballs in the food court (I recommend Swedish).
Main building has reopened. Get there early on a weekend.
Fresh produce everywhere and lovely crowds.
A nice way to spend a sat
Getting some of the famous apple fritters.
