Solid coffee, solid service, nice atmosphere.
strawberry matcha latte!
Friendly staff, good coffee, spacious coffee shop. Would visit again.
Really good quality coffee! Fast and friendly service.
After a few years of avoiding Pilot coffee my husband and I decided to give it another shot. $9.35 for 2 drip coffees - and they were still the worst coffee we have ever had. I can't explain it, it tastes like bitter rocks.
I loveeee their coffee and matcha, it’s seriously unmatched! The staff is also super friendly :))
One of the best cafes in the area with a perfect location ! A walking destination from a 1 hour free parking lot. The coffee is well made, I enjoyed every sip of it!
The place is students and work friendly
Highly recommended
I can’t recommend this place enough! The staff here always go above and beyond, making you feel right at home every time you walk in. It’s rare to find such genuine, friendly service these days. And the coffee? It’s fantastic, my go-to is the oat milk mocha.

Nice enough place, still decent coffee. I order from many roasters around the GTA, and Pilot has been in the rotation for years. However, they treat you like infant garbage at this new Waterloo spot. I was buying a "pound" (word to the wise: they're not even 340g anymore -> 300), and the server (owner? seemed older and authoritarian) explained to me that my tap needs to produce a checkmark, as if everyone and their grandma doesn't know (mine does, fwiw). Then he accosted me for not waiting for it. Completely destroys the convenience of tapping doesn't it.
tldr go to Serrinia in the Kitchener Market if you want respect, knowledge, actual pounds (454g, ~$20) and an actual roaster. I can get it shipped from to anytime.

A nice clean, bright and cheerful café. The staff was super friendly. My coffee was great, so I had to have a second. I love the paper airplane logo!
Worthy of noting: Very clean, touchless washroom.
Definitely a return in my future... next time I'm in town, this is going to be my first stop!

Top notch espresso bar. They have 2 grinders, each with a different coffee so depending on what style you like, they may have you covered. Also, choc chip banana bread is delicious and pairs nicely with their beverages..

Had an oat latte, very enjoyable for me and the bf. They also used my favorite brand of oat milk!
I was surprised they let me pick between 2 types of coffee beans if you wanna try something new.
Barista was super friendly~

Very nice workers but matcha was really weak, just tasted like milk; and the espresso was so burnt and bitter I could not drink it at all. Won't be returning.
Friendly baristas, tasty espresso, and good vibes. They also sell a wide variety (location, type, processes) of freshly roasted single-origin beans.
