I can’t recommend this place enough! The staff here always go above and beyond, making you feel right at home every time you walk in. It’s rare to find such genuine, friendly service these days. And the coffee? It’s fantastic, my go-to is the oat milk mocha.

Nice enough place, still decent coffee. I order from many roasters around the GTA, and Pilot has been in the rotation for years. However, they treat you like infant garbage at this new Waterloo spot. I was buying a "pound" (word to the wise: they're not even 340g anymore -> 300), and the server (owner? seemed older and authoritarian) explained to me that my tap needs to produce a checkmark, as if everyone and their grandma doesn't know (mine does, fwiw). Then he accosted me for not waiting for it. Completely destroys the convenience of tapping doesn't it.

tldr go to Serrinia in the Kitchener Market if you want respect, knowledge, actual pounds (454g, ~$20) and an actual roaster. I can get it shipped from to anytime.

A nice clean, bright and cheerful café. The staff was super friendly. My coffee was great, so I had to have a second. I love the paper airplane logo!

Worthy of noting: Very clean, touchless washroom.

Definitely a return in my future... next time I'm in town, this is going to be my first stop!

Top notch espresso bar. They have 2 grinders, each with a different coffee so depending on what style you like, they may have you covered. Also, choc chip banana bread is delicious and pairs nicely with their beverages..

Had an oat latte, very enjoyable for me and the bf. They also used my favorite brand of oat milk!

I was surprised they let me pick between 2 types of coffee beans if you wanna try something new.

Barista was super friendly~

Very nice workers but matcha was really weak, just tasted like milk; and the espresso was so burnt and bitter I could not drink it at all. Won't be returning.

Friendly baristas, tasty espresso, and good vibes. They also sell a wide variety (location, type, processes) of freshly roasted single-origin beans.

Really enjoyed the macchiato, given the option to choose from a couple different espresso roasts.

Maybe tell people that you’re about to close before they buy something and sit.also google says you close at 6 but The white women that worked today decided to close at 5. I could’ve went to another cafe and worked spent my $ elsewhere if I knew you were about to close. She was also not nice. Everyone else is super nice though! unfortunate one barista had to ruin the experience!

Starbucks was packed so we came here instead and we're so glad we did. It had a decent amount of seating spots. It was really clean inside and the staff were great. The coffee was also good!
