My go to sandwich shop. Best sandwiches you'll eat in town. Must try, the owner is very friendly and will give you the best recommendation based on what flavor you want to experience. Sandwichs are stuffed, the ratio of toppings to bread is 50-50 minimum sometimes 60-40.

There is a careful attention that can only come from loving the work that you do, and Ishan has that care and attention in droves. It is amazing to me that every individual ingredient is placed on the sandwich methodically to maximize the experience. It is so clear to me that he is very proud of what he does. The couple ordering before me were anxious because of an allergy one of them had, and Ishan was so considerate and personable to soothe their fears and make sure they could eat their food with confidence. This kind of customer service is rare and a real precious gem in the Waterloo food landscape.

The food was good but definitely overpriced — I paid $20.00 for a ginger ale and a sandwich. What really stood out, though, was how the owner spoke to the staff; he was rude and condescending to the two employees working. It made the atmosphere uncomfortable despite the decent food.
The other two employees were lovely, helpful, and kind. If my experience had only been with them, this would have been a 5-star review, but unfortunately, the owner really brought the experience down.
