We have been here in previous years and enjoyed it. This year, the prices increased and the scoop was extremely small. As others have noted, it barely filled the bottom of the cone.

Walk up ice cream joint in Uptown Waterloo. They serve Kawartha dairy ice cream so the quality is there. The person serving wasn't overly friendly when asked about the flavours. Nice sitting place outside but it's puzzling that they make you walk all the way around to get to it.
Parking: Across the street there are a couple of spots that are free, just pay attention to the signs

Had high hopes. Unfortunately, they were not met. The ice cream was super gritty and full of chunks of ice.
$8 for a DOUBLE scoop that doesn't even fill the cup. A tub of Ben and Jerry's would have been about the same cost with more ice cream.
Service was mid. They had to ask us what we ordered again, even though we were the only customers and had quite literally just ordered. Could hardly hear the cashier because the window is too low and covers the face of the cashier.

This place is great! For the price the portions are really good and the exterior window service feels reminiscent of an old childhood alleyway ice cream place. So good value + good memories = great times!
really quaint and delicious I enjoyed the raspberry lemon so much! Will come back to try other flavours ^_^ I’m also so happy that they give big scoops,,, I actually feel satisfied!
