After getting take out from this and the King st location here is my review.University location:1. Portion is better than the King st location.2. The Beef and chicken shawerma wrap as well as the platter were visibly larger.3.The flavour of the chicken, beef and rice here were consistently much better than the king st location.4. The chicken shawerma here have a lot more fat and skins than the king st. location which is the only con.King st location has much smaller portion but the chicken is leaner. The rice here has no flavour at all . Really sad that ever since covid the food taste and portion here have gone down significantly compared to the University location.

Shawerma Plus SERIOUSLY hits the spot. You can't miss Shawerma Plus with the outdoor signage and inviting colors. After walking inside you get the same cozy feeling and the smells just warm your soul up. They put so much dedication from the way they speak with you to the quality of the food, I was really satisfied. I didn't know this but you actually get $5 off your first order of $25 or more if you order online through their website shawermaplus.com - love supporting local! Since I was really craving mediterranean I decided to go all out and order. First, there was so much variety on the menu that there wasn't anything I couldn't order. Shawerma Plus has some of the best value meals so I decided to order the Saj Super Family Tray, Chicken Shawerma Poutine, and Baqlawah for dessert. My Saj Super Family Tray came out so crispy and flavorful - seriously filled with so much umami. I love how the poutine uses their own sauce and it really made for a unique combo. To finish, the baqlawah was the perfect finish with the sweet drizzle. For a Mediterranean craving, I will definitely be back. Thank you for all that you do!

I went to the King street location. I was craving shawarma and just did a quick Google search to see what was recommended in the area. I called and Baraat took my order over the phone. She was courteous, kind and professional. It is a small store front, a few tables. Baraat was so lovely and the service was wonderful. THE. FOOD. IS. IMPECCABLE. Easily the best shawarma and falafel my partner and I have ever had. Would 1000% recommend and will be returning when in the area. Thank you! :)

We have loved this spot for years and they continue to amaze us. The owners have been so kind, and have introduced us to terrific new foods. We have ordered lunch, brunch, and dinner, and we have not only been introduced to new foods, but they will answer all our questions , and have told us many stories of their lives, here and in the Middle East. Their menu is wide and suits so many folks, so we are always confident that when we suggest Shawerma Plus, everyone will be happy. I can't resist the fresh falafel, but I've always had a fresh and a yummy meal. We even introduced our family to this cuisine, which was new to most of them, and it was a big hit! We ordered a big meal for a celebration a while ago, and it was enjoyed by one and all. One of the fellows said " I don't know what it is, and I don't know how to spell it, but I want some more!" It doesn't get better than that. We tend to go to the original restaurant, just because we are used to it, but we have been to, and brought 'newbies' to the newer and larger restaurant, and it was of the same caliber of the original . Don't miss this place!

Just ordered the beef & chicken family platter for pick up. Everything was hot & delicious! The portions are also very generous (family of 5, we have enough for lunch leftovers for everyone).The wraps were very flavourful, as well as the 3 sauces (garlic, hot and possibly pomegranate?).The wraps were grilled in the flattop and had a nice crisp on the outside.Normally I prefer chicken schwarma, but the beef win me over with its great flavour and tender texture.The fries were hot abs crispy as well.Keep up the great work! Will definitely order again.

Best shawarma in town! The garlic sauce is the key to their success. Owners are very friendly as well. Used to go to this place at least once a month when I was in university here. Hope they get a chance to expand even more!
