I had the Cevapi and it was amazing. Great portion sizes in all their dishes, you could even split one between two people. I would 100% come back if I’m ever in the area again. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best Serbian food in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. The portions are generous, the flavors are incredibly authentic, and everything tastes like real homemade Serbian cooking. Slavica is an amazing server—warm, attentive, and makes you feel welcome every time. Huge respect to Radoje, the head chef, for consistently outstanding food. A true gem.

My boyfriend took me to this restaurant as we’ve recently developed a liking for Serbian food. The food was delicious, though a bit overpriced and the menu was fairly limited. The couple who run the place were very sweet, but we did feel slightly out of place at times.

I enjoyed a delicious lunch here at St. George’s Restaurant. It was my first time dining here and I was very happy with my experience. I enjoyed the grilled Salmon with rice and Vegetables. The Pork schnitzel and potatoes was also top notch. Both dishes had nice flavour and large portions. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was nice and Quiet with Serbian music playing. The tables looked nice with white linen table clothes and I enjoyed the artwork all around the restaurant with beautiful Sceneries, a pretty horse and an interesting musical instrument on display. I will definitely return and plan to bring some friends with me next time.

I had a great experience at St. George Restaurant. The food is authentic Eastern European and absolutely delicious, from the rich goulash to the crispy schnitzel, chicken wrapped in bacon, pork burger, and fresh fish dishes. Everything was prepared with care and tasted high quality. You can really tell it’s a family-owned place, as the service feels warm and welcoming.
The only drawback for me is the atmosphere, it’s not the coziest or most luxurious setting. But honestly, the amazing food and genuine hospitality more than make up for it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for traditional Eastern European comfort food in Waterloo.
