We had a reservation for 8 including a 7 month old and 7 year old. They contacted us to ask if it was alright to move our table from a lower seating with a high chair to a taller seating option with a booster seat because the needed the accommodation for somebody who required accessibility access. We were told we could have out original option but the next reservation was an hour and a half after ours so it would potentially be a time crunch. We agreed to move tables as it did not cause us any issue or inconvenience of any kind. They decided to to provide us with not one, not two, but 3 free appetizers without us even asking or complaining. Amazing service at our table as well. The bang bang shrimp was incredible. The food was OK for the price, but not a reflection of the resteraunt, but more of a reflection on what we chose to order to try something new. The kids meal was a shocking value!. For less than a big mac meal, my daughter was presented with a plate of fries (which were awesome all around) and real home made chicken tenders that quite frankly made me think we had accidentally ordered her an adult serving.

The brussels sprouts were incredible.. The shrimp was good.. Fish-and-chips fries were awesome.Fish was a little bland.. We had the beef tip bread was not fresh.Steak was a bit on the grizzly side and not tender... The atmosphere was beautiful as well as the waiter was incredible weight staff one hundred Percent.... Would I go back,,, If I was going to have the brussel sprouts And shrimp I would definitely go back.

We visited state & main for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday as a family at the Waterloo location. 5 stars all round from start to finish. We look forward to returning soon and this being a regular restaurant for us to visit.
