Have been to this restaurant in the past and enjoyed it Food quality has definitely gone down for some items. My wife's lamb shanks was the worst we have ever had anywhere. Bland meat and hard vegetables. The expensive Iberian pork dish was ok but certainly didn't wow me. Service needs help as well. Dirty cutlery was left after appetizers and was still there when desert was served until we finally pointed it out. Had to ask for small plates for our table for appetizers and then dessert sharing platters. Not sure we would go back.
I took my wife, our three adult children, (and one girlfriend) to the Bauer Kitchen last night to celebrate her birthday. The food was fantastic but our server, (sorry but for the life of me I can't remember his name), was fantastic. The place was busy and I know we weren't, but it felt like we were his only table. Our server quite honestly made the night for us. We will definitely be coming back.
The server was excellent and I believe that the issue was at the bar. The cocktails and wine arrived much later than they should have. This is coming from someone who knows many people in the industry. I noticed many reviews allude to the same issue. Other than that, keep up the great work
I want to thank the staff at the Bauer Kitchen for everything they did last night. It was my birthday dinner, but I started with a migraine shorty before we arrived. The staff were so caring and attentive, packed my meal for me, gave me a complementary tea before I left, and then they went in to ensure that the rest of my family had a lovely evening. The food was amazing (even when microwaved for lunch the next day!) I wish I could remember the name of our server, but she was so sweet and caring. All of the staff were very clearly highly trained, and unlike many places who cut staff to save money, The Bauer Kitchen had lots of staff around, giving them the chance to be successful and give that extra attention. They were still clearly working hard though! I will definitely be back, many times. They really did go above and beyond. Thank you!
We love the Bauer kitchen for casual dining with delicious options for everyone. Their espresso martinis are the absolute best. We love the atmosphere there and the servers are always making sure your dining experience is the best.
Another fantastic evening out! Our server, Olivia, was excellent. It was obvious she enjoys her job. Service was outstanding and food was delicious as always.
Food, location and atmosphere were all great. Service was excellent! Visited for a friend's birthday and they made it special with a nice slice of cake and candle.
The menu is interesting and the dishes have great flavours. Our server was attentive and professional. It was a great experience.
The Bauer Kitchen brunch is such a good experience. Not overly priced, great atmosphere and WONDERFUL food. I had the Champignon Benedict and it was delicious. Typically, I don't do brunch because I make good brunch at home and Bauer is my only acceptation because the meals are so distinct.
Soup was COLD had to send it back steaks where both over done Wasn't the best night out We usually really enjoy your restaurant Not yesterday We where looking forward to celebrating our friends 65th birthday

Fun vibrant atmosphere with amazing food. The gnocchi mushroom & short rib was fantastic, the salmon also.
Cameron was a fantastic server. She was friendly and attentive. We all had eggs Benedict (3 with salmon) and we enjoyed them. Only criticism is that the food was not really hot. The potatoes were hot, but the eggs and sauce were cold. Overall though, a good experience. Birthday dessert was a nice surprise.
Cool vibe and friendly service here. The coffee served in the restaurant wasn't as good as the coffee from the bakery. Although my partners' cortado was fine. Neither was the biscuit (too dry) that my (too garlicy) champignons benedict came on. While I might come back and try something else next time, but I know I would be very satisfied at the Bauer Bakery next door and sit outside on a pleasant day.
Had a wonderful experience with my 6 visiting sisters. Was a little noisy but food and service were too notch and the ambiance was classy and impressive. THEY WERE IMPRESSED!
The food was delicious. The server was very efficient and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner outing.
