Went here for Sunday brunch. Service was fine, we sat outside. We were there close to 3 hours, they weren't rushing us to leave but we were also surprised that nobody asked if we wanted our bill. Usually restaurants want you out of there in 2 hours but they didn't seem to mind. We did have to eventually flag another waitress to bring us our bill. The major problem I had was the food. I ordered mushroom eggs Benedict that had a very tasteless pesto sauce, the portabello mushroom didn't improve the flavor, the sauce was mediocre. Overall tasteless. I would never order it again. Ordered side fruit vs potatoes, raspberry had mold on it even though I pointed it out to the waiter, nothing was done. Extra 2.75 was charged for this fruit substitution. I was just grossed out eating it after.

We were treated very well for our Anniversary dinner. There was live music outside due to the Jazz Festival which is not normal but was very nice. Service was great - attentive, not rushed - food was good, and the gifted prosecco was much appreciated. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Celebrated a family Birthday lunch! Service, food, atmosphere were great. We booked a 2pm time slot and it was a wonderful choice. The restaurant was not overly busy, noise level was very low and the food was very quick.

A new server and he did his utmost to give great service and a warm welcome and accommodate all our requests! All the staff worked so well together and the atmosphere was exceptional and the food perfect for us. Noise level enthusiastic though we were accommodated to have a table that suited a hard of hearing guest.

We went for a Birthday drink around 7:30 pm. We were asked if we were celebrating anything and we told them it was for a Birthday. Most restaurants do something for you on your Birthday...they did nothing! Not a big deal, just surprising. We didn't have food, so can't comment on that. But it is extremely loud in the dining area and as a result we had to really raise our voices just to talk to each other. The staff were very professional, but I would not go back again due to the noice. A nice place, but disappointing.
They allowed a table of 8 wild young children ( approximately 4yr-7yr) to sit by themselves while the adults were at a separate table ignoring them. Only after our meals were delivered did the staff offer to move us due to the kicking of my back, climbing over the booth, screaming in my ear, etc. They should not have sat anyone near this table, period. They did knock off our drink order from the bill as a consolation, but the whole experience was awful. Grilled chicken on top of my salad was dry, dressing was wrong, Caesar drink tasted awful. Terribly long wait for staff. I've been to Bauer many times, and always enjoy it, but sadly I will not return.

Hands down, they have the best service staff and food! I always enjoy having their SZECHUAN SEARED YELLOWFIN TUNA Bowl, so delightful and yummy! This is definitely my favourite place in the tricities for their ambience, service and menu. Definitely Try their tempura veg maki rolls, absolutely delicious!

Loved our server, our meal, and the ambiance of Bauer Kitchen. Our server was very knowledgeable about the drinks/menu, as well as the food menu; she had suggestions for all of us when we ordered. The lighting is perfect, in my opinion, and I like a little "noise" when I go to eat here. It wasn't "loud", but a nice bit of background chatter was heard. We had 2 starters that came quickly, and were delicious. We had sweet potato wedges w/chipotle aioli, and the baked cheese & spinach dip. I could have licked the bowls w/the dip and aioli, clean - SO good. We all had different mains, but all were insanely delicious (one burger, 2 gnocchi, and 2 steak salad bowls. I could have eaten 2 of everyone's meals had I been able to! We did not have dessert, but it was a birthday celebration, so the kitchen kindly sent out a delectable carrot cake for the birthday girl. We had a bottle of wine between 3 of us - the server recommended it and it was perfect (a white from New Zealand). I have enjoyed every meal and visit I've had to Bauer Kitchen over the years. I will definitely be back!

It's a really fun restaurant to go for a first date. There's lots of people watching and feels like you're in a movie however I was with three other people and we all ordered beverages at the same time. My beverage arrived 25 minutes after everyone elses did. I would say that I waited approximately 40 minutes to get a cocktail from the bar. I also ordered soup and was not provided with a spoon and had to flag down a server to get one. I wouldn't go there if you want to talk to friends but it would be fun to sit at the bar or for a first date.
