This was my first visit to this restaurant on my way home from St. Jacob's Market, and it was the perfect place for brunch. The eggs were wonderfully cooked, the toast was warm and buttery, and the coffee kept flowing. The service was swift, the food was wonderful, and the pricing were shockingly low considering the location.
I don't like leaving bad experiences but updating my review. Staff was loud ..in the way that they talked to move around the place. Also in some cases staff didn't speak English well and confused some words for orders and about takeout items. Staff seemed stressed. Omelettes were good, the hash was completely undercooked. Underwhelming experience as far as atmosphere goes. Not quintessential Canadian breakfast feeling.

Portion size is smaller than I’ve had before with poutine. My partners home fries were very unseasoned and bland. The cheesecake french toast also was lacking blueberries ): The service was great but i probably would go to another location.

These guy's home fries are quite possibly the worst I've ever had. It's not crispy but soft and mushy, like a stewed potato. I got the Mediterranean Omelette and I'm astounded with how flavorless they made it. The best part of my meal was the buttered toast. Just don't eat here please.

Can you believe we spent $51 for a just regular breakfast ?!?! Me and my husband can’t eat potato fries. So I asked the waitress about instead of other things. She said fries can instead of fruit, but she did not tell us we need to pay extra fee for little fruits. When I got the bills, I was so shocked! Total $51!!! I went to ask the manager and the waitress, they just said sorry but nothing, I paid all! I would never never go to this Sunset Grill!!! They are all LIAR because of money!!! Also, the high chair is really really small and tiny! My baby is 17 months old it’s not fit for the baby!
We love coming here for a weekend breakfast out. The food is always great and the staff are so friendly and wonderful. It has quickly become a regular place for us to visit.

Atmosphere and service at this location is really good, but the food? Oh my! Really really really good. I am quite picky when it comes to breakfast and this place over delivered based on my expectations. They have an early bird special, so you may want to make good use of it and get a fantastic breakfast. I wish they had outside tables as it would make the whole experience even better.
