Sweet Lou’s is an absolute gem! I called to ask about birthday cookies and the owner was so friendly and helpful that I decided to head over. The shop has such a cool vibe and strong ties to local universities, it makes you proud to be part of the community. The staff were incredibly sweet, and they went above and beyond by decorating my cookie box with a birthday banner, blow horn, button, and napkins. Such thoughtful, next-level service before I even tasted a single cookie! Can’t recommend them enough!

Solid cookies. No complaints about the quality. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is I just felt like they weren’t exceptional and therefore didn’t justify the price difference between what I can get at the grocery store. Wasn’t necessarily disappointed I tried them but not sure I’ll return.

Just visited Sweet Lou’s Cookies in Waterloo and wow… what an experience! I had the cheesecake shake and it was absolute heaven in a cup — creamy, rich, and hit the spot perfectly. I also grabbed one of their brownie cookies and let’s just say it didn’t last long enough for a photo 🤣 (that good!).
The quality, flavor, and creativity here are on another level. You can really tell everything is made with love and care. Whether you’re a cookie fanatic, a dessert lover, or just want to treat yourself, this place is a must-visit.
