My husband is a first generation Canadian. His father immigrated from Ukraine in WWII. I decided to take him to this cafe for our wedding anniversary to celebrate his heritage. The food was so wonderful that he actually cried. He was instantly transported back to his childhood. Every bit of the experience was absolutely lovely. Absolutely love this cafe! The authentic, handmade soups and pierogi are especially delicious. The borsch tastes just like my grandmother used to make ❤️! You can even grab some of the soups frozen to enjoy at home. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu! Highly recommend!

Cozy cafe with delicious food. However I do think $21.50 for a very light lunch (vegetarian Borsch and 6 pierogies) is very pricey, especially cuz we were hungry again within an hour. Would definitely return but not on the regular for sure.

The owner Galina is a very pleasant person and also a good conversationalist. I advise all Russian speakers to visit this place.
