My husband is a first generation Canadian. His father immigrated from Ukraine in WWII. I decided to take him to this cafe for our wedding anniversary to celebrate his heritage. The food was so wonderful that he actually cried. He was instantly transported back to his childhood. Every bit of the experience was absolutely lovely. Thank you for making our day that much more special.

Absolutely love this cafe! The authentic, handmade soups and pierogi are especially delicious. The borsch tastes just like my grandmother used to make ❤️! You can even grab some of the soups frozen to enjoy at home. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu! Highly recommend!

Excellent food! You can tell everything is homemade and fresh! The owner of the restuarant was incredibly kind, she even took a photo of my girlfriend and I! 10/10 would come back 👌🤌

I fell in love with Teremok, Galina and the food there. I had a borshch, onion and potato varenyky, my Mom's classical treats for me. Teremok is my Ukrainian food spot now. I keep bringing Canadian friends of mine too. I feel super proud to introduce them to our culture.

Cozy cafe with delicious food. However I do think $21.50 for a very light lunch (vegetarian Borsch and 6 pierogies) is very pricey, especially cuz we were hungry again within an hour. Would definitely return but not on the regular for sure.

Teremok is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! I tried their borsch and pelmeni, and let me tell you, it was like being transported straight back home. The borsch tasted exactly like my mom’s—rich, hearty, and so perfectly homemade. The pelmeni were equally incredible—so fresh, tender, and packed with flavor that every bite felt like a warm hug.

What truly made the experience even more special was the owner. She’s the sweetest, most welcoming person you could ever meet, treating everyone like family. It felt less like a restaurant and more like sitting down for a homemade meal crafted with so much love and care.

If you’re craving food that’s cooked to perfection and served with a side of heartfelt hospitality, Teremok is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to go back! ❤️

Wonderful establishment! Homemade dumplings are the best I've ever tried. Everything can be taken away, which is very convenient. The owner Galina is a very pleasant person and also a good conversationalist. I advise all Russian speakers to visit this place. And if you are looking for something new, then this will be the best place to try Slavic cuisine!

Teremok cafe offers an amazing dining experience with delicious, homemade food that truly feels like it’s made with love. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and Galina is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Each dish is bursting with fresh, authentic flavors, perfectly seasoned, and served in generous portions. I highly recommend trying their pelmeni (dumplings), which was an absolute highlight. If you're looking for a place with great homemade meals and top-notch service, this is the perfect spot!
