Thai Express Restaurant Waterloo

Paid for general Thai chicken pineapple but there was max 2 pineapple pieces and 3 chicken pieces. Same thing with the veggies 2-3 onions and green peppers. Asked for extra spicy and sauce but it was so dry. They charged extra for anything but Horrible experience. The store was completely dead, so that should’ve been an indication for me, but I still went ahead with my order.

I paid 4-5 dollars for extra chicken and added less rice.
It turned out to be the exactly opposite. There was no extra chicken and bowl was mostly filled with rice. This was the last time I ordered from this fraud place. 2 small pieces of broccolis and JUST 2 baby corns. 🤣

This restaurant is run by a family who are very friendly and hardworking. They cook everything in a wok over a flame and have mastered take out thai food. Ingredients are very fresh and cooking on high heat means the meals are ready extremely fast. We love coming here and get take out every week. They also adjust the spiciness level to meet your preference!

Don’t bother with the lobster pad Thai. There was so little lobster, it was NOT worth $21. Very disappointed. That’s it. Can you even see it??

Best Thai Food in town.

Chicken was really dried out, and this was at peak supper time so imagine what it is late night or on off meal times. I would avoid it was very expensive as well.

Called them multiple times they never answered. Went in to place an order wanted a vegan pad Thai , asked for no green onion the lady nodded and I asked if they could do onion she had an “annoyed face” as if what I asked for was too much? so I didn’t want to order my food as I didn’t want to “trouble” so I left. Good luck to the business .

Thai Express is a good fast casual restaurant that specializes in Thai dishes.

The service is quick and friendly. Our favourite is the chicken pad see ew.

Quick comfort food. Can’t go wrong with their beef pad thai. Lots of food for the price. Accessible and convenient.

We ordered 2 noodle dishes and asked for them to be made vegan. They were both made with egg inside. We drove back to the restaurant (15 mins) and the lady there yelled at us instead of apologizing and refused to offer a refund or remake the noodles without eggs. Terrible service!
