The Bauer Bakery & Café

If you are a chocolate lover, you'll love their chocolate hazelnut croissant. Filling- nut ratio is perfect. For the cookies, nutter butter and ginger molasses are my favourites. Strong flavours, not cheap but for their size and quality, they're great.

Great for brunch, dinner wasn't as good. Might give it another shot.

This place does a lot of things well except for vegan muffins. My muffin was so oily that it soaked through the bag. Would go back but I’m nervous to give their other vegan items a try.

A weekly stop for me! Their coffee is delectable and their bakery treats always taste amazing! The baristas are always so kind and willing to help with modifications when necessary!

Love this little spot. Soy latté and gluten friendly brownie are my faves. The staff are always friendly, and I love the Yoko Ono nod in their art. I wish there was more indoor seating - seems to be more of a summer spot for enjoying your beverages and snacks on the outdoor patio!

When you check the place it advertises outdoor seating, showing umbrella. Yet I am seating outside and umbrellas are nowhere to be found available for bakery. Coffee by the way is excellent here.

Take out bakery/coffee shop. Although you can sit at tables in the restaurant next door. Lots of baked goods options including croissants, muffins, quiche, breakfast sandwiches, cookies, etc. Full coffee/espresso options. Not cheap or fast.

Best almond croissant I had in the Kitchener Waterloo area! 🤩 Must try their almond croissant and chocolate chip cookie! 🥐🍪

The Bauer Bakery & Cafe is a nice spot which serves a delicious breakfast sandwich. The croissant is crispy and holds together well. The arugula adds a nice peppery taste without being too overwhelming.

Friendly and quick service

You can sit in the restaurant in the morning while enjoying your coffee. Their butter tarts are amazing and the coffee is good.

Overall experience was solid, got the Americano and butter tart. Coffee was solid, not acidic, not anything special. Butter tart was yummy! Wish it was smaller though. No seating for cafe, can sit in dining section - good luck because it’s busy lol
