Absolutely solid apple fritter! I stood in line for about 20 minutes. The lines moved pretty quickly and the fritters are fresh to order. Definitely worth eating right away as the longer it sits, starts to get more soggy.

No trip to the St Jacobs Farmers Market is complete without a visit to the Fritter Co booth. The most unique apple fritter around and you get to watch the whole process while waiting in line. I've waited over an hour without flinching because I know it's 💯% worth it. You can watch the clean apples get peeled and cored, sliced, dipped in batter, baptized in hot oil, removed from the oil and coated in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon then boxed for you. You can also order singles or in a bowl with choices of ice cream, maple syrup or caramel. Grab a dozen to bring home and get a bowl with 2 fritters, ice cream and maple syrup before going home. It's a reward and you earned it.

Absolutely worth the hype! The Fritter Co. at St. Jacobs Market makes the best apple fritters I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, with a perfect slice of apple in the middle. Yes, the line can be long (especially on weekends), but trust me, it’s worth every minute. You can smell the fresh fritters from across the market, and watching them being made right in front of you adds to the experience. A must-visit every time I’m at the market!

Pause. I know this photo may seem a bit suspicious but trust me when I say it’s worth waiting in the long line for. I rated the atmosphere a 3 because they are located in a pretty busy spot so it was a bit overstimulating. However they are pretty notorious for their apple fritters so definitely try to hit this spot when you come out to the farmers market. Pair it with the ice cream. Would definitely eat this everyday if I could.

I’ve had the apple fritters here before and they were delicious. Today I waited in a lineup outside in the cold for half an hour, only to be told when I got to the cash, they were sold out. Sorry, but that’s just ignorant business practice. If you know that you’re running out of your fritters it would be very much appreciated if you would let the people in the lineup know.

These apple fritters are not your average apple fritters, it’s a whole slice of apple fried with batter. When it’s fresh, they are hot, crispy, sweet, tangy, cinnamony. Be aware that the line can get very long on Saturday, so visit them on Thursday if you can.
Staff were kind and efficient.

Go on a Thursday if you can. The fritter is such an amazing treat to yourself. Very nice big slices of apple. The dough is so soft and even better with ice cream and caramel sauce. So divine. ?❤️?
